A lot of inlaws are just that way. My ex-inlaws let me have it all the time since they were UK fans and i'm a Tennessee fan.

There were a couple in front of us who either left or moved in the first quarter. There were a couple sitting 2 rows behind us. We had no choice but to stand if we wanted to see the game. They didn't say anything to UT fans. Our band can never play Rocky Top enough at Candy games.

Vandy is a member of some tuition free consortium
some people do pay full tuition and many pay nothing. Not sure how it breaks down.

I think it's based on dad and mom's adjusted gross income. A lot of colleges and universities do it that way.
