Vaccine or not?

I can tell you with certainty (directly from the top of hospital admins) that nearly every single one has had significant comorbidities.

Also, there has been a consistent report of "40%" being incidental diagnosis, but these would still be included in "COVID deaths."

Thanks for the response. That is what so many of us have been suspecting since the beginning of the pandemic. It's amazing how easily a large percentage of our population can be hypnotized into thinking its normal to completely change our way of living to eradicate this one disease. I was reading a pretty interesting report earlier today on the huge uptick in excess deaths outside of covid deaths. It was pretty astounding to say the least. If I remember correctly some states were up 50% in death totals.

I’m not sure what to make of this. Maybe you clarify for me the relationship between your statement and this bible verse.

This is really sad to me when people believe and spread misinformation.

Anti-Vaccine Bishop and Unvaccinated Sister Die of COVID-19 Weeks Apart - The Pappas Post

Kosmas had refused to get vaccinated and loudly opposed government measures such as mask use and vaccination.

Speaking during a sermon in 2020, Kosmas denounced those reluctant to attend a packed church, labelling them “unfaithful.”

“God does not allow you to be infected. God does not infect,” the bishop said. “[Church] is a holy place. The temple is heavenly.”

The VA and Tufts U. have a study out indicating that as many as 60% of those hospitalized from COVID in their facilities are either 1) hospitalized as a precaution, 2) incidental COVID cases in people admitted with some other reason, or 3) people otherwise not dealing with severe symptoms.

Yeah…you sure seem sad about it.

Aren’t you upset at people that have influence and spread misinformation or are you cool with it?

Interesting response. To answer your question, I don’t get upset about people sharing their opinions. Probably because I tend to think for myself and don’t heavily rely any one person’s point of view to form my own opinion.

Are you really sad when someone believes what you define as misinformation? Because it seems you often would rather share content that mocks that person.

My whole stance on the vaccine has been about the spread of misinformation from people that have a platform whether it’s a religious leader, a host for an antivax radio program. You have a mind of your own like you said but a lot of people take these criminals for their word. I couldn’t care less what you think about why it’s important to me or not.

From where i sit, your stance is that some misinformation is better than other misinformation. Two people with some of the largest platforms are the esteemed Dr. Fauci and President Biden. Both of these gentlemen have shared a lot of misinformation.

Let’s pick on some of Joe’s misinformation for a moment. I haven’t seen you share any TikTok videos or tweets mocking vaccinated people who came down with COVID.

Why is that surprising to you? This is a big issue with two very different points of view with not a lot of middle ground. People are pretty much on one side or the other.

It’s not surprising to me at all. But it seems contradictory to a post you made just a few minutes ago:

You forgot to add on to this statement that your whole stance was about the spread of misinformation by the people you disagreed with.

With regard to your last thought on people being on one side or the other, it’s a shame that you see the issue in such binary fashion and is likely due to how political the issue has become. It also depends on where you want to define the dividing line.

I don’t really see myself on one “side” of this debate. I see several imperfect options that must be selected by each individual. Each individual will have their own risk profile, risk tolerance, value system, etc…and the options will be selected with that context.

I’ve never felt the need to shame someone who got vaccinated. Or boosted. Or chose not to get vaccinated. And I certainly won’t be mocking anyone who made their choices above and things didn’t work out favorably for them.

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen someone die by acute gluttony until yesterday.
He had stomach pain at 8 pm. Ignored his body’s warning and ate another full meal. By 11 pm he was unresponsive. EMT to us to surgery. Found he had a tear in the lower portion of his stomach opening to the abdominal cavity. The surgeon noted he removed full chunks of meat from his abdominal cavity and it was full of undigested food that has not been broken down by mastication. He didn’t chew his food at all. He came to us and was in the process of passing as I left at 11 am. BMI 60, approximate abdominal girth was 70”.

I've never considered this until reading this anecdote, but people that get that big and eat like that may be suffering from a mental health disorder.

His sister confirmed it. His entire life he showed no restraint with food and in fact went to such excesses that he would make himself ill. He was continually warned by family members this was going to kill him. He definitely had an eating disorder.

Good thing I read the article instead of just taking the title and running with it as gospel:

  • Over 90% of the population is fully vaccinated
  • The unvaccinated still have worse outcomes than the vaccinated

Based on prior idiotic points in this thread, the vaccine has a 95% effective rate against the virus. Meaning only 5% of the 90% will become infected with the virus.

I think we can both see the math from this point.
