I'm saying that I know full well the BLM doesn't give a damn about "Black Lives" unless a white man is the one doing the killing. Why? By the standards applied lately they’re not wrong.
Last I checked only 26% of the African American population was vaccinated compared to 58% of whitey. So a vaccine mandate would definitely disproportionately affect the AA community.
"50 or older" doesn't seem that old to me. I'm not 50 yet, but I hope whatever gets me isn't "yeah, he's 50, so f it." In fact, the older I get, 65 doesn't seem like an age where I'd say, "yeah, I've been around long enough."“Since COVID landed on our shores, 95%of dead the U.S. have been 50 or older. Nearly 80% of the dead were 65 or older -- and not only are they heavily vaccinated, but they make up only 16% of the population. The 64.5% of the population under age 50 -- in its entirety -- has a 5% chance of dying from COVID.
Now we await a TikTok video from Mad4 of a nurse talking about the 37 yr old they had to intubate to prove how deadly Covid is for the young.
We all know that the 95% is overwhelmingly weighted towards the higher end of the 50+."50 or older" doesn't seem that old to me. I'm not 50 yet, but I hope whatever gets me isn't "yeah, he's 50, so f it." In fact, the older I get, 65 doesn't seem like an age where I'd say, "yeah, I've been around long enough."
Ok but the truth is 50 yr olds aren’t dropping on the regular. It’s the 75+ crowd. It doesn’t make their deaths any less trivial but it does speak volumes about letting the extremely less vulnerable age brackets continue life as normal and avoid a vaccine if they so choose because their risk of hospitalization and death is negligible.I stand by my statement.
