'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

Hiter was still engaged in dialogue with us on NSD, and apparently knew what was going on with Sherrone Moore.

He's stayed committed to Michigan through all this. So...he staying.
There isn’t any evidence that players knew what was going on, only that he was “being investigated” and weren’t given any additional details.

He cannot yet enter the portal so let’s wait and see if he does when he can. Betting lots do to get a loyalty NIL raise at a minimum OR…., Then anything can happen. Coaching hire could be a real factor, either way.

Guessing he stays put with a large pile of cash. But we'll see.
There is a point where the additional money over UT's offer won't matter. It's happiness and stability that matters most. Go to the university where you get the best chances of having that. With Michigan's recent turmoil, the chances of a good environment are probably not too high.

I remember working for my first oil company in New Orleans. I liked the company and the environment a lot. Anyway, I got this wild hair to interview with another oil company on a Friday afternoon, just out of curiosity. To my surprise they offered me a job with a $10,000 raise in the interview. I accepted their offer the following Monday. BIG mistake. It took me about a week to see this. I hated the company and the environment.....very cut throat,:( I lasted there unhappily for 4 years. The extra money didn't matter to me anymore. I quit!

I spent the next 20 years working for an oil company that I enjoyed much more. The environment was much better and the job fun. They eventually gave me an expat position for 12 years, Something I always wanted. So a happy ending ;)

They must be offering him a ton of money not to ask for his release. Probably added the TE money that went to Texas Tech to his already substantial amount
