I think that is one of the things that I have really liked about how Heupel has built his roster. He really seems to factor in character and not just talent.

I’ll take a borderline playoff team or New Year’s Day bowl game with kids you can root for over a team that wins everything but you Have to deal with sexual assault, robbery charges etc,

I’m proud of the program Barnes has built. I always knew Tennessee could be a top 10-15 BB program even when ONeil, Peterson etc were screwing it up. Most criticism of Barnes is the first weekend exits or losses to programs with 1/5 of his budget in the NCAA.

Actually love that about him. Do wish he'd take a bit more of a chance (talent versus intangibles), occasionally.

Really do think this team is capable of hanging a banner, in SEC. And frankly, would be a disappointment if they dont.
