No way this happens. Drink gets what he wants right now at Mizzou and he's exceeding expectations. Florida's expectations are somehow higher, with fewer resources. People underestimate how much money is in St. Louis. Mizzou is the only CFB game in town really. They are the flagship. They are probably seeing investment from individuals who aren't even alumni. Also, the fans seem opposed to the idea of Drink. Whenever anyone mentions him they are drowned out by detractors.
Drink and FL make sense to me. Most punchable coach to go with the most punchable fanbase.

I believe Drink ends up at Florida! I was listening to a podcast and some guy supposedly in the know says Stricklin likes Dorkwitz.

Unfortunately he would probably be good there..

On Franklin I don’t think he takes a job this year. I would draw my $660,000 a month and chill.

I’m not sure what the difference is between Drink and Mullen. Either way both of them have a much higher football acumen than Napier.

Walmart money. Most of the family went to Mizzu.

Yes, this is true. I've been a Cowboys fan for years. Jerry Jones only cares about looking like a good GM.

I jumped on the Cowboys bandwagon in 1992 because Tennessee didnt' have an NFL team and the Cowboys and 49'ers were always on Fox, and for whatever reason I just hated the 9ers. Also didn't hurt that they won the SB that year. I stuck by them through the 5-11 campo years, convincing myself they'd be good. I never thought I'd not be a fan. But Jerry broke me. It was during the 8-8, 8-8, 8-8 Garrett years that I finally gave up on the team. I actually started rooting for them to lose in hopes it would in a sense force Jerry to make drastic changes. But he then did an interview after a loss to Atlanta where one of the reporters pressed him about giving up the GM responsibilities and Jerry smugly insisted the team was better off with him as the GM. My rooting for them to lose became a habit and I still do it to this day.

Jerry Jones cares about Jerry Jones!
And publicity, good or bad. If he cared about winning no way would he make the decisions he does. Heck, I heard him say not to long ago that controversy good or bad sells and that was the main thing too him. That doesn’t sound like somebody that wants to build a championship team.
