Pretty good read. Hopefully the weight room numbers translate into sucess on the field.
Well, it certainly can't hurt. Some of that is pretty eye opening as far as how bad it has gotten.
I guess we have always been somewhat soft, at least under Fulmer. I remember the game against Nebraska so vivdly. Our 5-star laden defense that was so heralded and many on here still call one of the greatest defenses in history, had their hands on their knees gasping for air at the end of the 1st quarter.
Very much so but Nebraska was one of the first schools to figure out the inclusion of the Olympic lifts and its supplementals into its strength and power routines.Somewhat soft under Fulmer?? Al Wilson was not a soft football player. John Henderson wasn't very soft. Will Overstreet soft? Donte Stallworth was benching 400 as a "softmore". Jerrod Mayo was not a softy. Eric Berry played soft? Really. Am I misunderstanding what you mean by soft? Nebraska was roided up btw.

They crushed everyone for 3 years except Texas in the Big-12 title game. Guess 95 UF was soft too. The won games fairly easy, against nearly everyone, til the faced the 'Roidhuskers'.
