frankin coaches vandy the same way kiffie coached here. plays to keep it close so he can run his mouth and pump sunshine up peoples asses. im glad our staff takes chances and goes for it on 4th downs at times.
personally i think we're gonna blow vandy out of the stadium, ive been watching film of them all day, not impressed with vandy or franklin.

Interesting, where do you get film on Vandy?:hi:

And not 1 win on the road..We get Bray back and win. Vandy is still Vandy they find ways to lose.

i think franklin will have his team pumped and ready to play, he is a sunshine pumper. hes been gearing for this game all season. after the way hes ran that mouth, he better find some way to beat ut sat. but i dont see it unless some reason bray doesnt play, but its looking pretty good for bray.

Vandy played uga good and Arky good while both teams where at full strength. I am hoping, but don't see how Bray will make a bigger impact. Are people thinking Ut offense is better than Uga and Arky?

At full strength the offense is better than Georgia and on-par with Arkansas. But seriously, go be a Vandy fan somewhere else.

I bleed orange thru and thru. Just trying to see how people think we just are gonna win anymore because we show up. And if I recall Uga kept Bray out of the endzone. I just have serious doubts about this team.

against ark vandy had the ball longer in the game, just about from the start ran the clock pretty close to zero before the snap. kiff done the same thing a couple years ago against alabama and florida, he knew they were much more talented than us and was just trying to keep it close. franklinn does alot of those same things. bama beat them 34-0 and usc beat them 21-3. the rodgers kid at qb throws alot of ints. i just dont see them beating us. ill admit, i will be nervous if bray doesnt play. justin has a long way to go, but hes still better than simms.

Thank you for all your posts. A rational island in a sea of hysteria!

The true Vol football fans also realize that a complete rebuild takes time, tools and talent...2012 will be three very good classes (that stay) in a row! Keep looking for the positives. They are there

He had Arky beat and fumbled that game away. He got bad calls against Uf. They could be 7-3 or 8-2 with that Uga game right now. And that is my point. This is a 5-5 Vandy team that is headed in the right direction and we are 4-6 holding on for our lives. This is my point in making the thread. We aren't giving them enough credit. We aren't good enough to just turn on the lights because it's Vandy and Ky time. I am really worried and I advise others to get serious as well.

And a Vandy loss will tear all that momentum apart.

we held uga to 20 points and if bray doesnt break his thumb who knows, thats the great thing about ifs. vandy is a veteran team as well, but i dont think the vandy upperclassmen beat our underclassmen. i think dr has a huge day against these guys.

I hope Bray is back like everybody else-but I sometimes think that we put too much on him, and also think we give him too much credit. As good as I think he can be, he's not really beat anybody yet. If it's ok to say that about Dooley, why not Bray?

he will. would have been fun to see hunter all year, that one hurt most of all.
i know people will say one player doesnt hurt a team, but ill point toward the colts. a playoff/superbowl contender to getting the first overall pick in the draft because one player went down.

Ha true true. The Colts have been a train wreck! Hopefully Bray lights 'em up this week!

We weren't going to win that game. Simms was lucky to score. So Basically they shut us down with Bray in the game. I just wish people would get real. We weren't going to beat any good sec teams this year.

Bray is the key for us. If he plays and is at his old form then we win. If he's out or plays rusty then we loose.

1. Vandy almost beat Arky, Uf, and UGA. Three teams that dominated us.
2. They have good qb play and play 60 min and don't lack confidence.
3. We seem to be getting worse where last year we turned the corner.

I am going to the game and supporting my team...but am I the only one who now thinks Vandy is a better overall squad than us in 2011? I am trying to think of the reasons why we beat these guys. In my mind they are the favorites and we have to have everything go right to win. How do we do that? What's our game plan?

We "turned the corner" last year because we got to play an awful Ole Miss team at home. This year we had to play the #8 team on the road instead. That's the difference.

Give this team Bray, Hunter, Jackson and Lathers back and a home game against Ole Miss and this season looks a lot different.

Opening line has Vandy as a 1 point favorite.
I think that is a first in my lifetime.

Have you watched any film on us? I hate Vandy with a passion but at least they play with confidence and don't quit after 30 minutes. Hate Franklin all you want but his players believe in him more then our players believe in Dooley. (imo)

Wow your the first one the point to the Colts and Manning but it's an assumption on your part. The Colts have gone down hill in every area the past few years and even with Manning that team wouldn't be a superbowl type team. Everyone seems to forget that with Peyton last year the Colts were 10-6.
