I don't see how CBS can have exclusivity on the night game...there will be no place for any other SEC games. All must be shown somewhere (except for the one PPV). I believe the exclusivity is only good for the 3:30 slot. Not speaking from any personal knowledge, just using a little common sense.
Nope. Part of the deal signed by ESPN, CBS always has first choice and can't go head to head. Usually not a problem for a night game but not in the rare instance when CBS has a double header. Not 100% sure but I think this might be the only one of the year. For some reason I feel like they might have done two of them one year, the second being on the Friday after Thanksgiving though.
We will not know anything officially till Saturday night/Sunday morning. Here are the four options.
CBS 3:30pm - Both teams must win this week for that to be a possibility
ESPN noon
ESPNU 12:30
SEC Network 12:21
Obviously, it's likely going to be an early start. There is no chance of it being a night game.
