I don't see how CBS can have exclusivity on the night game...there will be no place for any other SEC games. All must be shown somewhere (except for the one PPV). I believe the exclusivity is only good for the 3:30 slot. Not speaking from any personal knowledge, just using a little common sense.

Nope. Part of the deal signed by ESPN, CBS always has first choice and can't go head to head. Usually not a problem for a night game but not in the rare instance when CBS has a double header. Not 100% sure but I think this might be the only one of the year. For some reason I feel like they might have done two of them one year, the second being on the Friday after Thanksgiving though.

Regretably, I probably won't be able to stay for the GA game, but if GAVol comes in Friday, I'd certainly stick around for his arrival. I'm going to show him what a real computer geek/message board member looks like!

I stand corrected. There have been so many night games for the SEC this season that I didn't think they could fit them all in before 3:30. However, Vandy @ Army has been shuffled off to CBS College Sports network at noon and UK @ USCe goes to Fox Sports at 12:30. The remaining games go to ESPN at noon, SEC Network at 12:21, ESPNU at 12:30, and of course the coveted CBS game at 3:30. Looks like ESPN is taking the hit for this one week vs. CBS's better contract.

Speaking of the Georgia game....

I live in Kentucky and am heading to Knoxville for the weekend of the Georgia game. One of my best friends who I met while attending Maryville College is returning home that weekend to get married. He is in the Navy and stationed in California where he will soon begin his Navy SEAL training.

He and his fiance moved their wedding to Sunday afternoon so we could all tailgate and go to the Tennessee game on Saturday.

Many of the people in the wedding party will be travelling to Knoxville from different parts of country, all in all there are about 20 of us.

We are looking for tickets to the game. I realize how late notice this is and by no means do we expect to get tickets together. We will take whatever is available. Please send me a private message if you have tickets available no matter how many or where....THANKS!

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else but has next week's game time been announced for the game between UT and UGA?

On a side note, it looks like they are predicting rain for next weekend.... hopefully the weather will not be too bad. We are coming from California to visit the campus and take in the game.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that this is a 3:30 game.

We will not know anything officially till Saturday night/Sunday morning. Here are the four options.

CBS 3:30pm - Both teams must win this week for that to be a possibility
ESPN noon
ESPNU 12:30
SEC Network 12:21

Obviously, it's likely going to be an early start. There is no chance of it being a night game.

Nobody can show an SEC game against CBS. This week, CBS has two games (3:30 and 8pm) so the rest must start at 12 or 12:30.

There is a beer fest going on in East Orlando from 1 to 5 next Saturday. Who did I screw with last week that karma would be so cruel?

im good with the noon or 3:30 kickoff means i dont have to sit up till 5 in the mornin watchin the game here in iraq lol
