Yeap, after that glorious QB performance this weekend against UCLA, Vegas is doubling down on UF and has even expanded their preseason spread.

Most books have it at UF -28.5. Preseason is was -26.5.

I've fought it all I can. I concede, the beatdown is near. I wish it weren't so. :mf_surrender: Have fun JC... this may be your last start.

It would have to go to at least 40 before I would take UT. I'm no gambler though, so it doesn't matter to me...

I got to believe our D can keep it closer than this, we may not score any points but I doubt they run away either. Plus I dont think this team will just roll over and lay down like previous years... We may not score many points by I think the D keeps it respectable... I think there is money to be made on this one, but Im too superstitious and wont bet on my own team.

I dreamed last night we would lose to Florida 3-0. Obviously one would expect that Florida would score way more than 3, though we might not score much more than 0.

Having said that, I dreamed we would lose to WKU and look what happened!

we should just quit playing the games and let Vegas decide. After all, we'd be 2-0 right now

Florida won't try to name a score against us. If Urban does seek revenge, he will wait till the game is in hand in the 4th quarter and then take a few shots at the endzone. This is his routine. Look it up. I'll take the Vols if the spread is 28.

I had a dream last night that I was at the game. I immediately looked at the scoreboard and it read:

4th Quarter
11:45 left to go
Tenn: 45
Florida: 95

:eek:hmy:

UF's offense is much better than UCLA's. If we cannot sustain a few drives our defense will be really gassed. Even if we don't turn over the ball if we are going 3 and out over and over again I would expect UF to kill us.

This will likely be a fast moving game. We may go 3 and out a lot, but odds are UF will score quickly and our D won't necessarily be on the field that much more than the offense. What I have noticed however is that the first 2 games UF has been flat coming out of the gate, then got their rhythm either late 1st Q or early 2nd. If we can get a break or two early it could get interesting. My gut says that we just don't have enough playmakers or enough plays to win unless UF makes a lot of mistakes. Meyer will try to score as much as possible and I think they will be able to late in the game as their depth will get the better of UT.

Who knows, maybe in Meyer's scheme to just destroy us he leaves SuperTim in there and he gets a serious injury in the process. I don't wish anybody to get hurt, but blowouts are a very good situation for injury. You get complacent and it just happens.

i put $50 on the vols to win last year @ UCLA. I couldn't do this, but my roommate suggested i bet on florida and the vols will pull the upset.

Just saw the opening line for the game this weekend is Florida -28.5.

I really want to take Tennessee but hate to bet with my heart.

What do you guys think?

Yikes. That's pretty big but I can't argue it with how bad the offense was last week. I think the defense will be able to make it a little closer but turnovers and no passing game will give UF great field position and unlike UCLA, they'll score TDs. I wouldn't even touch that bet. Meyer will probably try to run the score up anyway.

Just wait it will get larger as the injury reports start to come out......bide your time, by kick-off it might be 34.5

I'll take Florida. Unless Crompton tops this weekend's performance I don't see us allowing more than 35-38 against Florida. I'll say 38-14.
