This is why I'm not a Fulmer fan. There should be no question about having your guys ready for this weekend yet, I bet everyone of us wonders if they will show up motivated.
You're not a Fulmer fan because of a post on an internet discussion board...that is Silly.
I have not doubt these guys will be fired up and ready to play, due to the tradition and meaning Fulmer has to tennessee Football!!!!
Wow  I've yet to see an unsatisfying SEC title.

Getting blown out three times in one season, our coach on the verge of being fired. Empty seats in our stadium over the last half of the season. Maybe unsatisfying is the wrong word, but when I look at our team I don't think SEC champs. This has not been a typical run to a title is all I'm really saying.
I really can't believe i'm hearing this crap, i thought Vol Nation was going to be a place to find some positivity.
Unfortunately, you cant come here to talk positive about the Vols. All some people want to do is dwell and relive all the negatives and losses and not to positives and look to the future. The same people that love to rehash our embarassing losses sure dont like to rehash our great success against Georgia and Arkansas.
I just keep coming back because I like a good debate and I want to put my unwanted 2 cents worth of positive sentiment towards the Vols in this Forum

Isn't this statement true with most every football game played (please don't ask for examples, they are obvious)?
So just maintain the "I think we can win" attitude and lose the "we could just as easily drop this game" attitude and have Fun.
Go Vols!
I don't have an "attitude" about thinking we'll lose, I am just not oblivious to reality. Reality is that we are not a juggernaut facing a patsy in this game. It is a competitive match up.
As I said, I think we can win. I hope we do. But Kentucky has a legitimate chance.
I'm trying to figure out what UT has done to earn respect. Blown out by a 6-5 Bama team on the road, Florida on the road and a 6-5 Cal team on the road.
The difference is, all of those teams played their best early in the season. Alabama had LSU on the ropes before their own personal 9/11, and Cal was poised to become #1 before their starter was hurt and the backup had a clock management "issue." Florida also looked to get a little too cocky for a young team after they beat us. They have all slipped up. UT has gotten better and is undefeated at home. Plus, we destroyed Georgia and the defense has stepped up big time recently. We still get less respect than "scary" 8-4 Georgia did at this time last year.
