Does anyone know the guy that passed away? Even though I do not know him, I would like to send his family a sympathy card. Volnation lost one this weekend.

No one here is talking about hiring a personal injury attorney but you.

Everyone is only concerned about a 20-year old kid dying and thankful the person below him will survive.

Naivety has nothing to do with it.

They announced it on tv, that a fan had fallen from third deck and landed on two people sending them to hospital.

If you want to ignore that legal liability and potential alcohol usage may have someting to do with this accident then that is your prerogative.

Why is that even an issue right now? How about you let the people involved worry about that...

Me? I'll just be sad for all of those involved this morning.

I will be taking one of my flags off my car in honor of our fallen Vol this week. May you sing "Rocky Top" with a choir of Angels and the General by your side. Thoughts and prayers to friends and family.

Just got home from ATL, we had to drive straight back after the game. Wife and I talked about this most of the way home. Just really sad and a horrible way to go. Whole stadium cheering for a UT touchdown as he falls to his death.

Hope they have some type of moment of silence or something for him at next weeks game.

They're gonna be tearing that stadium down and building a new one with a retractable roof. Guess the architecture will have to take this incident into consideration. Tragic story to say the least. Does seem strange after all of the millions of people who've attended games, concerts, and other events that this is the first time anyone fell. Terrible accident and my heart aches for the family and friends of this young man.

First off, prayers to this young man's family and friends. This is such a tragedy, I can't even imagine.

Secondly, out of respect to a fallen VOL, please get off the soap box about alcohol, MADD, drinking and driving and litigation...this is not the place nor the time for it.

I think unfortunately for this young man and his family, this was just a freak accident. Could the design in the GA Dome be improved upon? Absolutely. But like you said, millions of people have been through that building in the past decades without incident.

Anytime you mix heights with crowds, extra care and vigilance is warranted.

RIP my friend, Till we meet again in the big neyland stadium in the sky.
Also take time to remember the Texans fan that passed away after falling 60ft.

My prayers to the family's of both these young men!
