I definitely agree with the Ramar assessment. Lottery may be a bit much, but a very high pick nonetheless...I was looking at some 08 mock drafts last night and some has lofton in the 40's and the highest I saw has him in the low teens. I would bet Tyler Smith could be a 1st round and in 2 years Ramar Smith may be a lottery pick.
My guesses ...
Lofton (late first/early second) - 2008
T. Smith (mid first) - 2008
R. Smith (mid first) - 2009
W. Chism (late first) - 2009
J.P. Prince (early second) - 2009
D. Crews (mid second) - 2010
Pure speculation, but it's fun to speculate![]()
its hard to tell because the players that would be leaving early, with an exception of Tyler, don't seem to be NBA ready at this point... but if they can become that in a year then ok
Tyler Smith is kinda in the same situation Corey Brewer was in. Corey's dad (Ellis, aka Pee Wee) was not dying, but he has diabetes and had to get one his legs amputated. I think he told Corey to stay in college and just have fun after the '06 championship. I think Corey was leaning towards pro, cuz of his health. I think his dad didnt attend a single college game, cuz of his health. After this yrs title, Corey told his dad that he will have the best leg ever. Unlike Noah, Horford, and Green's dad, Pee Wee wasnt a pro athlete. Him and Corey spent countless in the summer in tobacco fields. I think thats a great story.
