Very little
2016 QB rating:
Peterman = 163.4
Dobbs = 150.7
I guess hot air and hype are better than actual numbers?

Oh, silly me. Why trust Petermans superior evaluation among NFL scouts, wonderlic scores, combine ratings and QB rating above Volnation spin doctors.
Why didn't I just consult D4H, or you first ?
Most people now have Dobbs ranked higher. Peterman's one good game was Clemson. He beat the champs so he is getting more hype than he should. He had 308 yards against Clemson. That was his career high and one 300 yard game of his career. Peterman is still horrible. He just got luck and had a decent game against the right team.
Last 2 seasons as starters at their respective schools-
Dobbs: 6,839 total yards, 65 touchdowns, 18-8 record as starter
Peterman: 5,660 total yards, 51 touchdowns, 16-10 record as starter
Hot air and hype?? Not hardly.
Josh Dobbs is the only reason Butch Jones still has a job.
Thank you for the stats. I really don't understand this love affair with Peterman and the desire for some to put down Dobbs.
Dobbs beat out Peterman at UT. Folks just need to get over it.
Sure. Peterman 'got lucky' against a lot of ranked competition last year. He then got really lucky at the Senior Bowl where he was the best QB, then got really lucky at the NFL combine where he shined, resulting in multiple NFL team interviews and a high Wonderlic score of 33.
Amazing how 'lucky' he suddenly became when given a chance.
