US drone strikes in Yemen

If those wedding guests are blood hungry terrorist & want to kill innocent people to prove their stupid agenda of spreading HATE in all the world then hell yeah kill those Mofo's & their little dogs too. Remember, he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.

the only people saying they are is the administration so are you prepared to just take their word for it? You trust them that much?

also, if we're killing people "spreading hate" there's little need to leave our own borders for a generation or so. Lots of work to be done locally for a whole lot less money

Does it make anyone nervous that we are cutting our military budget (the guns pointing at the rest of the world), and ramping up our various, bloated federal agencies and giving them SWAT teams (the guns pointed at us)?

:whistling: but but, wait......what about our guys in intelligence that are on the ground in Yemen? Aren't they being truthful in rooting out the bad guys there & letting our guys know where & when??

Not nervous but makes me go hmmmm...

The new Captain America movies tackles this subject rather well.

I don't doubt their intentions but think about it from a powerful Yemeni's (Yemenite, Yemenean?) POV. Why would BadGuy1 risk a fight against BadGuy2 when he can turn them over to the US and let our drones do the work?

I love it! If we don't drop bombs on wedding guests in Yemen we will end up in a police state where the Constitution is invalid.

As if that's not happening already. However, the reduced asskicking we do overseas becomes multiplied exponentially here because of that same generational attitude you spoke of. Why can't you understand that we are a target no matter if we are non-interventionist or not? And further, why do you brush aside the concept of the political knee jerk whenever we have a terrorist incident here?

how do you prove this theory? When's the last time someone described the US as non-interventionist? The complex simply won't allow that to happen

What I love about the current Yemen strikes is they come after these dickheads released a video flaunting a large gathering of AQ.

Who's laughing now?

 PJ's starting to sound too much like a certain lawyer on here.

because I think spending ridiculous amounts of money to kill innocent civilians who in turn join an enemy is idiotic? Because I'm not a hypocritical Christian calling for the murder of anyone not born on a certain plot of land?

Okay, answer me this then. Were drone strikes happening when AQ elements detonated a car bomb under the WTC in 1993? How about when they blew up one of my friends at Khobar Towers while being invited guests of the Saudi Kingdom and doing nothing more than enforcing UN sanctions against Iraq in 1996? Or were we using drones in 1998 when they blew up two embassies? Or the USS Cole in 2000?

Why can't you get it through your head that no matter what, we have been and will continue to be a target for those lunatics no matter if we withdrew every last troop from around the world? So if that means killing them in the Middle East, Central Asia or North Africa instead of Everytown USA, then perfectly fine by me.

Hey Mr.PJ.....we're not killing innocent civilians & using them as a target. If terrorist surround themselves with those types then that's on the terrorist as far as I'm concerned. Innocent civilians w/a brain should know by now that drones are killing known terrorist & they should NOT be hanging w/the homies.

drone strikes are simply one example of US meddling. Yes we were doing still able to do that without drones

the issue with "getting it through my head" is that you can't prove the guys being killed are truly AQ operatives intent on attacking US interests in Everytown USA. Until that happens and the deaths of civilians can be eliminated I simply can't support the programs.

well clearly terrorists wear their membership pin when hanging around others so they should be easily identified.

I guess the word "proactive" isn't in your vocabulary.

I'd suggest a daily word calendar. It helps.

The bad news for you PJ is that we will kill terrorist more & more so you need to get real & get use to that fact. There will be more of them than we can sniff out so when we have a chance to do the job it will get done. Remember, they declared war on the USA not the other way around.
