For high volume? About 5 years bar experience, 3 bartending, and a good decade's worth of people skills, street smarts, and general quickness/mental acuity.
Most people can't do my job without these, and I only do it 2-3 days a week. I suggest you and your graduating classmate find new material![]()

My kids have waited tables in a high volume restaurant for several years. They developed some damn good people skills in the process. Mixing drinks can be taught. Dealing with *******s while you are doing it is an entirely different story. btw......sometimes the biggest *******s are the ones working at the restaurant.
