Update on new strength coach

Back to the new strength coach. Looks like a drill sargent to me, expecting good things from him. All I hear is good.:salute:
 
I think we will be a better football team this fall and a part of the improvement will be strength and conditioning. We will play better in the 3rd and 4th quarters because of better S&C. Add that to more good athletes and we well be an improved team.
 
Seems to be a great hire. Every player interviewed this spring has brought up ow much stronger/faster they have gotten. :loco:
 
I did not go back and read through this whole thread but my question has to do with changes the new coach has made. When the previous s&c coach was here we always heard how great he was and what a bada$$ he was (I guess because he wore sweats in the summer). I assume TX must have thought he was good too or they wouldn't have poached him. Now we have this new guy who in a matter of a few months seems to have made significant improvements in strength and speed across the board. What is he doing that the old one was not doing?

according to daniel hood they are lifting much heavier weights, said BW focused on lighter weights compared to mac.....
