Update on LSU QB

After he hits the ground a few times that knee’s going to be bothering him. Might not come out of the game, but will definitely slow him down and make him think twice about running.

Kelly also said he wants him to be more aggressive in the passing game. If, might be a big if, we can tighten up our pass defense, we could collect a few interceptions.

With TN's pass D being last in the SEC that's not a surprising game plan. Hope coaches have a lot of pressure plays ready to go.

Not that it changes the game plan any, but I would emphasize hitting the QB as often and hard as possible...

You seriously think Hendon has personally already accomplished everything this season he set out to achieve? That’s a shallow mindset if so. He has only played 4 games in 2022.

Now as to your question. A lot to prove to himself? Are players not allowed to have a chip on their shoulder anymore, specifically our qb? You don’t think players play with more grit and determination when doubted?

It seems like you’re the only one doubting him at this point. Maybe that will motivate him enough to get him over the top. Good thing you are there for him.

Game plan has to be to spy him limiting his running ability while getting a good solid hit on him often. I would like to see us bring a few more safety blitz packages this weekend and see if we can rattle him early. That knee will likely be pretty good for the first half. I would think he will start feeling some discomfort after half.

If his mobility is effected at all it could be a problem for them. A lot of people are thinking this game will be close, idk that I agree. LSU Oline is terrible, their passing offense is anemic. They scored 14 pts vs Auburn on offense, just don’t see them keeping pace especially with our Dline pressuring him.

I think Manning had a similar issue before bowl game Vs Nebraska.[/
True, then he got an infection that made it worse. Ironically the infection may have come from poor hygiene by the medical staff at St Mary’s …. Who he did those great commercials with.

The LSU QB has been surgically upgraded…They installed a laser cannon on both arms for this kid. He will now be ambidextrous and 100% accurate with the new AI installed on board. They made him a foot taller and recomposed his DNA to carbon fiber so muscle and bone density is now 187 times stronger than human.
So he's basically Paul Bain

If his mobility is compromised, there's no reason not to go with the better passer especially with our secondary.

I don't know about the knee, but a pinched shoulder bursa is debilitating. I would bet a few hard hits and hard cuts would swell that thing up good no matter what they squirt into it.

He's more Machine than man now...
