Update on LSU QB

After he hits the ground a few times that knee’s going to be bothering him. Might not come out of the game, but will definitely slow him down and make him think twice about running.

Kelly also said he wants him to be more aggressive in the passing game. If, might be a big if, we can tighten up our pass defense, we could collect a few interceptions.
I noticed in the auburn game he has a tendency to overthrow slant routes. I’m thinking we’re due for a pick in this one

I wrestled with a busted bursa sac for about 3 weeks, once “you get going” it was more psychological. Hurt like hell about 20 minutes after the fact but adrenaline is a powerful thing. However, having said that…I can imagine playing football on that injury would be a little more complicated.
How long does it last?

Please point me to the articles raving about HH as a heisman candidate or top draft pick pre season like you are alluding to?

Oh that’s right you said week 4 talk.

Hendon still has a lot to prove and saying otherwise is either ignorant or stupid.

A lot to prove? To whom? Hooker has proven he belongs with the most elite QBs in the nation. That’s not hyperbole that’s a fact. Virtually every sports media personality has said it. The fact that he is getting serious Heisman buzz says it. By all means please give us the details on this “a lot to prove.”

You seriously think Hendon has personally already accomplished everything this season he set out to achieve? That’s a shallow mindset if so. He has only played 4 games in 2022.

Now as to your question. A lot to prove to himself? Are players not allowed to have a chip on their shoulder anymore, specifically our qb? You don’t think players play with more grit and determination when doubted?

How long does it last?
By the end of week 3 it was not too sore anymore and swelling was practically gone. Only evidence I have now is (roughly) the diameter of a dime on the bottom/outside of my right knee, and really only visible if I lock my knees. I’m no doc, but it was not a big deal at all medically- at least in my case. If I remember correctly, Peyton had the same issue going into the Orange Bowl against Nebraska. I could be wrong though… I was in 6th grade when he was a senior.

Even if he plays, if he’s playing in pain, it could work to Tennessee’s advantage. We might be able to bring more pressure and either get to him or force bad throws if he’s not as mobile as usual.

Don't forget that the pain may also alter his throwing motion. He may either overthrow or under-throw receivers if the pain is too much. Here's hoping for four picks, including three pick-sixes.
Sounds like a great time to cut our linebackers loose in the LSU backfield.Blitz, Blitz, and Blitz.

In my opinion, Daniels just got a bruise on his knee and he will be pretty much fine for our game.

LSU is talking like they are gonna unleash their passing game n dynamic receivers this week, but ... will see if Daniels is actually able to step up his game with hitting them with more catchable passes. I think they will try a bit of this, but they know their bread and butter is running the ball, with Daniels first, and Emery/Cain second. I think they might get two or three big splash plays, but it won't be enough.

Not had one on the knee, but on the elbow. When it gets hit..SHEWWWW it hurts. Not wanting anyone to be hurt, but he might feel it every time he gets hit or that knee hits the ground.

Same here with the elbow. Puffed up like a SOB when hit (and still does to this day). Got to where I didn't really want to hit the ground, but usually had no choice. I can't imagine dealing with that pain on a weight-bearing joint and repeatedly falling on it.

You are a troll dude.

How do you take a Hendon appreciation post and turn it into a cut down and master troll job?

Put the bottle down man.
