Unsportsmanlike conduct?

Why waste time debating what was clearly taunting? You know exactly what the intent was. There are other areas of the game that cost UT more.

We can debate all day long whether it should be or not be a penalty.

But, enough (and i saw this in the other "unsportsmanlike conduct" thread) with the "clapping" BS.

He was doing the Gator chomp.

What I will say is this is the kind of crap that Florida and Tennessee teams do and Alabama teams don't do.

Thats not true. Alabama player last year put his hand in one of our fans face after a TD. Its just that Alabama is not called for these penalties.

I hate celebration rules. As long as it's not obscene, no foreign props, excessive or directly involving fans/civilians then who the hell cares.

So what he did the gator chomp? I don't think a UF player would've gotten flagged for it.

I was actually really proud of him for doing it. Atleast someone shows the passion.

He gatorchomped 3x right into their student section. It's a penalty, he will run for doing it and he will learn to never do that again.

Sadly that's the rule, but it is the rule and he knew better than to do it. That's why CBJ didn't yell at the ref over it, he ripped Kelly a new one

agreed,, he was chomping

I think the rub is not that he wasn't taunting because he clearly was, however, that it seems to be done around the league and yet is called uniformly across the league.

Gators can taunt but Vols can't. Bama can stick his hand in our fans face? Its maddening.
