UT will crush them in court. The real sad thing is UT didn't come up with this idea (or one very much like it) on their own. I would be much more willing to join some UT-affiliated fan organization and purchase their gear than I am willing to do it for some guy just out to make a buck.
If I'm paying a buck, I want the largest portion of it to benefit the University.
The big question is why UT was willing to sign an agreement to license some of their trademarks in the first place. I have to think that surely Jamison originally pitched his group as more of a fan club/charitable organization anything else, and then only once he had his agreements did it became obvious that his main goal was to sell stuff. Hamilton must have been hoodwinked to some extent as to what Jamison was planning to do.
Sounds like they've overextended themselves with the corporate sponsorships, though. If you're cutting into t-shirt sales a little bit, you're a nuisance; if you're affecting UT's relationship with First Tennessee Bank, you're a real problem.
The only justice in this matter would be if the BOA was forced to disband and its members were set on fire.

What exactly is the BOA? Just a place that sells UT merchandise and doesn't compensate the University enough? Seems weird for sure.....
