Uniform/Helmet/Shoe design thread (merged)

Nike isn't adding Jordan to college deals anymore.
Division I FBS Apparel Brand Partners · 52.3% are Nike · 28.5% are Adidas · 13.1% are Under Armour · 5.3% are Jordan Brand · 0.8% are New Balance.

If it’s new balance, our NIL deals better come with a Base Model Corvette, Grilling Tongs, and an 800 Credit Score starter kit.

Aubarn gets Nike and we revert to the 2000’s again 🤨

I mean the corvette and 800 credit score would help those kids get that middle age thing out of the way real quick..

It really is a beautiful helmet.
But with all the uniform design changes and color additions, if you lose that Power T anchor, your brand is totally adrift.

Internet culture demands constant novelty. We just need to stay centered, get through this era without selling our soul, and emerge as a classic, stable program that kept its identity when most of the collegiate world was chasing a few extra bucks season-to-season.

Dear sweet baby jesus please stop Chad Fields.

Please tell me we’re not moving off of Nike

You mean like black and burnt gray uniforms? They were created as an internet novelty as well. Hate them.

Even with wild uniforms like Oregon, they generally keep things like the wings and the O on the helmet, except for in throw/faux-backs. Like you said, you have to keep your brand. Just slapping logos on stuff is amateur hour, like 99% of the concepts posted on here.

I miss Adidas. and have always despised Nike. So, add me to the ranks of the knights who say Baa Baa.

I'm with you. Adidas apparel always felt higher quality and lasted longer. Even now, I tend to prefer the cut and construction of my older Adidas Vol gear. I've got Nike stuff but it always manages to feel cheap. I don't quite know how to describe it. Every apparel manufacturer looks for ways to save on their production costs, but Nike's gear always feels like they not only price higher but spend even less to manufacture. They've had some good designs along the way, but a lot of forgettable and even ugly patterns too. So. No love lost either way.
