so we have recruiting studs from

West Coast- Kiffen
LA/Ole Miss- Orgeron
SC- Reaves
AL- Thompson
now North Carolina

Isn't Thompson well-connected in the panhandle as well? Also, what is the extent of the Texas connection with Garza (I think it was Garza...)?

My bad ... yeah it was Garza ... he played at Texas and was a grad assistant for them.

Makes sure coaches have a plane, and sets up trips and all that.

Sounds like it wouldn't matter, but they can be a HUGE asset to a program.

Yes except this personal assistant will be watching film, and will be scouting talent often times before the coaching staff ever sees some of these players.

He will probably be making highlight tapes, and watching countless hours of boring high school game films searching for that hidden gem.

Fellas I never post, but I have a good friend who went to Chapel Hill who has a co-worker who knows Goenella (probably messed the spelling up). We talked Wednesday and he told me he was coming to UT but at the time I wasn't sure about any details. Based on whats been said on the board I'd say it's a definite.
