Meh, high school simulator by day, dungeon crawler by night. Not sure if it's for me.

I said the exact same thing. It was damn good though, and I ate my crow, if you can set that first part aside. There are others too though that don't have the high school part. (FF8 and Type-0 were high school sims too, in a way, and I liked them both for what they did well) Persona and the other dungeon crawlers remind me of NES Dragon Warriors. Hard as balls grinds.

But yeah, I'll play through Uncharted 1-3. The story is cool in 1 so far, so that should carry me through the stuff I don't like until I get to 2, which everyone seems to say is the best.

Gotta love the Japanese obsession with youth. So many of their games has the protagonists being way too young to pull off the stuff they do.

My favorite is still Resident Evil. Chris Redfield is 25 and Jill Valentine is 23 yet both have accomplished things that would take a lifelong military career to do.

Uncharted is great. But UC3 was slightly overrated. It looked fantastic, really amazing visuals (the ship chapter). But it was a step down from UC2 story and gameplay wise.

Not alot of people like the multipayer. Im enjoying it though. Its pretty fast pace though is the only downside of it. Guess I was hoping for more of a LOU style

Wow is all I can say. Wow! Naughty Dog programmers aren't human!

You know that feeling you get when you play that first next-gen game on a new console after playing the previous gen console for so long? That's the feeling that Uncharted 4 has given me! It almost makes me feel like next gen just started!

@ GoBigOrange

You're definitely playing it the right way. I would NOT recommend Uncharted 4 to anyone who hasn't played the first 3. There's just too many tie ins and references to the previous games that a newbie would have no clue what they were talking about and it wouldn't have as much impact.
I'd like to play this game but I haven't played any of the previous uncharted games. I guess I should grab the collection on ps4.

Approximately how long do the first three games take to complete?
