So I was able to finally start this up last night and the funniest thing happened.

Usually my wife hates it when I play video games on the main TV because she usually wants to watch something when we're in the room together, and thank goodness both consoles now stream to PC. But she started watching me play it from the beginning and she said "This is like a movie!".

So now she wants to watch me play it because she's into the story. I can't think of any other game she actually liked to watch me play.

My wife is the same way. She's not much into gaming unless you count Candy Crush and other garbage mobile titles. However she actually started with me on Uncharted 1 and she's watched me play all 4 of them, plus The Last of Us. She's a huge fan of both series. She doesn't play them but she loves watching me play and see how the stories unfold.

That's really what makes Naughty Dog such great developers. Their gameplay is nothing special. I mean, it's good but nothing you do control wise reinvents the wheel. But when it comes to characters, dialogue, story, just overall narrative, they truly are in a class by themselves IMO.

That is how my wife is. She loves when I play games with a good story. Right now we are playing Until Dawn and I am letting her make some of the decisions lol.

I actually forgot, she watched most of that too. In fact when she saw Uncharted, she said "Hey is this like that horror movie game you played with the Heroes chick?"

I was hoping Naughty Dog would release some more information about the single player DLC at e3, but apparently nothing.

Not ready to talk about it yet apparently. My hunch is that the DLC will involve Sam.

My bet is the DLC is the Sam/Sully adventure they alluded to at the end of the game, where I think Sully said about going to Portugal.

Some fans on other boards have speculated it will be about Chloe and Cutter, since they were mentioned and didn't appear in this game. Personally I'd rather have Sam and Sully, because shoehorning Chloe and Cutter into this game in the end, in an completely unrelated story seems off.

FYI the game is $40 stand alone but if you buy the Triple Pack you get the game as a digital copy and that pack is $25.
