Something has happened. Perhaps going back to the Nemtsov murder and Putin's 11 day hiatus (that has still never been explained). Things seem to be slipping all of a sudden. It's subtle, but it's very much there.

And with him making what may be the biggest faux pas of his political career by accusing the US of going after FIFA to get at Russia, he seems to really be desperate. For what, I'm not quite sure.
