it only becomes moral once they reach odessa or kiev? anything else is ok? i would say after the broke the first *cease fire it was moral, now that they are in the process of re-breaking an already broken Minsk II, seems like we have plenty of moral high ground to go around. (at least Ukraine, Germany and France do)

Let me reword this. There will no longer be any plausible deniability for the Russians in the eyes of the world community, once that happens. And everyone everywhere will be "morally" free to kick their asses at that point, just like the Nazis and Japanese back in the day.

And of course the celebrities clause of it is just a pass for Putin and the govt. to justify themselves not being criticized.

Honestly, though, I don't even know why they bother to hide it or sneak around. Russians couldn't care less. Vladimir Putin could have gunned down Boris Nemtsov himself on camera right outside the Kremlin, and his approval ratings would have probably went from 85ish percent to 90ish. He still apparently hasn't courted the 5ish percent ultrahardliners.

Ukraine has nothing to gain and everything to lose by restarting the war. While the rebels have everything to gain and nothing to lose. So which side is more likely to escalate things? Thinking logically one would say it would be the rebels.
