Dude, you are nothing but an obvious troll! Even the posters on your side see it I'm sure.

It's okay for Israel to hunt down nazis to this very day, but the contributions the soviets made against them is irrelevant. It's discredited simply because of our agenda against Russia. It's pathetic!

I see you ignored my history lesson.

Typical...

I think the individual Russian/Soviet infantryman (particularly if he was conscripted into combat after the Nazi invasion) is to be admired and celebrated. I think, as far as he was concerned, he was just defending his native land from a very aggressive enemy.

The Russian/Soviet role or cause, however, should not be celebrated. While not as bad as the Nazis (but not too far behind), they were just as complicit in the war.

Are you denying the things I said about the USSR? Are you saying none of that happened and should not weigh in any view of the USSR? So a few million people dying, tortured, imprisoned, etc. don't matter to you? "Our agenda"? What are you referring to? My opinion is not against Russia. Like I've said many times, I love the country, the food, the culture, the people, etc. My opinion is based on actual history and the fact that the worst part of Russian history is coming back. My "agenda" is against one man. The fact you cannot see that and the fact you defend this sort of behavior is what is pathetic.

West itching for war

MPs warn government over arms sales to authoritarian regimes | Reuters

Stanley said arms export licences to Russia, which were criticised by the committees in their 2014 report, were still "a major issue of concern".

While many licences for exports to Russia, including those for sniper rifles and body armour, have been revoked in the last year, the committees said 248 licences worth more than 168 million pounds were outstanding

They included licences for components for military helicopters, small arms ammunition and software for secure communications.

"We would take the view that anything that goes to the Russian government could end up being used in Ukraine," Stanley said.

With that said, how many nations has the US carved up in the last 25 years?

The Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991. I'm not advocating atrocities or invasions at the hands of communism, but let's stay in the present day at least.

Comparing Putins actions with that of Hitler or Stalin in ridiculous.

Yeah we have pretty much conquered and occupied a grand total of 0.

Think the Euro, only better.

Russia's Putin calls for regional currency union | Reuters

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed on Friday creating a regional currency union with Belarus and Kazakhstan, Russia's main partners in a union of ex-Soviet states facing growing economic challenges.

Putin made his proposal at a meeting with the Belarussian and Kazakh presidents, who did not respond in public but have been lukewarm about such proposals.

Why does the Kadyrovtsy get free license to operate in Moscow? Or anywhere else outside Chechnya?

You'd think running his own little crackpot dictatorship would be enough. He keeps the nuts under control and makes them useful for things like gun running, assassinations, invasions, etc. For all the flak Putin gave us about the Boston Bombers, running these guys around will come back to haunt him one day. They are expendable and will work for money. If there ever was a coup, it would be through these guys. Strelkov or some other fringe fascist could use them to pull the hit off AND a reason (blame) to cleanse these less desireables from Russia.

But Putin could let Kadyrov do his thing in Chechnya without allowing his security unit free reign abroad. Why shouldn't they be subject to Moscow when they are in Moscow?

Interfax is reporting that DNR Minister of Defense, Vladimir Kononov, is on "forced" vacation whatever the hell that means.

Analysis

Long Live Minsk II? - Carnegie Moscow Center - Carnegie Endowment for International Peace

The Kremlin understands that it cannot win Ukraine back through military means alone. The Russian public is not supportive of a full-scale war with Ukraine, so Moscow needs to take pressure off of its military. It also understands that the best way to foment unrest in other parts of the country and undermine Ukraine’s integration with the West is to exploit corruption, the rapidly worsening economic and social situation, and oligarchs’ dueling interests. In light of this, Moscow will likely pressure the separatists to freeze the conflict in the Donbas and try to shift its focus to undermining the fragile political situation in Kyiv.

A covert campaign to destabilize the Ukrainian government would play on Kyiv’s existing internal divisions and may turn out to be the Kremlin’s best weapon. The fight for Ukraine’s future could move into a new phase of hybrid warfare, increasing the risk of Russian-sponsored “soft” terrorism. Unless Kyiv can kick-start the country’s ailing economy, attempts by some in Ukraine’s leadership to isolate the country from Russia will make life even worse for those in the south-eastern regions who are most dependent on eastern markets. This may further disharmonize the relationship between Kyiv and the regions and pave the way for an opposition victory in the upcoming local elections. South-eastern Ukraine may strike back.

How come Russia can put up whatever missile defense systems it wants to, yet European countries aren't allowed to, in Russia's opinion?

I just don't get it.

Paranoia permeates the society. People have different expectations of shizophrenics for the same reasons.
