I really think they write in Russian and then either use a word by word Russian to English dictionary OR they drop it in Google Translate. I am more inclined to believe they take the word by word translation. It is a pile of fragments gorilla glued together with commas.

The guy starts off using Cameron's downgrading of the British military as evidence of the forming of an EU army? And now the EU provoked the crisis? I guess it was EU TechCamp? I'd love to see HIS evidence.

I do love watching this ego driven guy speak. After speaking he has this pompous pose for the camera. For a guy so driven to bring down an overbearing image of UK he sure does drive up his own image.

These guys cannot even get their facts straight in lying. You have a Russian Major General saying he has flown a SU-25 at 12K meters. And then a colleague at 14K meters. So these guys are trying to say a low to mid level anti-armor plane actually has flown 46K feet? And this is when the ceiling of this plane is 7Km , 5Km with payload?

So they argue with the designer on altitude and payload capabilities. And they still argue about the route deviation once over Donetsk but a simple map of the actual route discredits this claim. Not sure why they argue a point easily disproven. I do notice they did not keep with the claim the altitude of the plane dropped. This was also disproven. We have some progress with correcting their lies. But then they have to go with saying this SU-25 can go even higher than it was structurally designed to go especially with the missile and armament payload they claim it had. Some habits are just too hard to break I guess.

If you are asking if I care about regime change in the Third World Muslim arena? I don't. Thought all of them were bad ideas. European backyard regarding a friend and neighbor as well as a nation that of late just does not seem to give a flip? Different story. Two different arguments. And to use failures in the Muslim world as a reason not to help a friend being overrun by a bully is failed policy. Ukraine never asked to be Russia's pet or sphere of influence. After 1991 Ukraine wanted to be treated as an equal. Apparently even in 2014 you had a leader still fighting like a khan from the 13th century invading his neighbors over land that was his decades or centuries ago.

Wait... since when has Ukraine been a friend to the US? What have they ever done to earn the level of friendship that you, McCain and Obama seem to be itching for?

Well since 1991. And the fact we put our name down to ensure their borders were honored. We neutered them of nuclear and most major conventional weapons with assurances like most friends that we'd have their back if anything bad happened to them.

Whether they are a friend or not to either the US or EU what gives Russia the right to drop kick signed agreements and invade a neighbor and pick off territory they said they honored?

conditional friendship? Is your friendship bought and paid for with a stream of gifts and a "what have you done for me lately attitude"? are your best friends the ones giving you the best gifts? or the ones to give you something most recently? International politics should be a lot like real life friendships.

once again i have forgotten who said this: "I defeat my enemies when i make them my friends". If the US is friends with everyone there is no one left to fight, and more good stuff comes of that
