It's an interesting war game to be had. Can numbers outweigh the technological advantage of our fleet today? Corvettes are kind of a interesting class since they are purpose designed and a little better armed and armored than the standard missile or torpedo boat. But still lack the sophistication and multi-purpose roles of frigates and larger classes.
I think it depends greatly on the class of ship they are taking on.
Merkel not going to the 70th anniversary to the end of WWII celebration in Moscow after all. Based on the rumors on here I've been expecting her to turn east and run into Putin's embracing arms. I guess we will have to wait a little longer.
On this site, it isn't. But, in American society at large, yes, you're right.
Oh, god, I turned this into yet another religious thread.
NO! It was you Grand! It was YOU!!!
No idea what's being said, but that's not a recent video. Unless people in Luhansk wear shorts in the winter.
Vladimir Putin for almost a week does not appear in public, "RBK Daily" . According to the newspaper, the last time reporters saw the President on March 5, the day of the meeting with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
In the following days, Putin spent only non-public meeting with officials in which there was no press. Putin's meeting with women whose children have achieved outstanding success in different areas, though, and was shown on television on March 8, took place and was recorded a few days earlier.
Recall that this afternoon, Reuters, citing a source in the government of Kazakhstan has reported that the meeting in Astana, the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, which was to be held on March 12-13, will not take place due to illness Putin. Several hours later, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the news agency Bloomberg, that Putin is absolutely healthy.
Seems Vlad cancelled a trip out of country and apparently has not been seen for a few days. Anyone seen Vladimir Vladimirovich?

It absolutely disgusts me that you seem to seriously (although I still internally debate about your sincerity) believe such drivel.
From the opening sentence blaming the breakup of Yugoslavia, a fabricated nation to begin with, on the US, I knew we were already in for a long-winding, very slippery ride. Stopped reading after the second paragraph or so, because it only got dumber from there.
If anyone should have put anyone on here on Ignore, it should have been me putting you and Rastradamus on the Ignore button.
But, as they say, "Fascists gonna fascist." And my god, it is amusing to watch.
Too entertaining.
it just gets worse and worse as you read on. incomplete thoughts, obvious holes in the argument, some topics that are mentioned are never developed. I put myself in the shoes of the writer each time i read something, and try and determine if I could argue their perspective from the information posted in the articles. Most of the time I couldn't see myself winning an argument with what is given, but Pravada is the worst. the whole argument relies on a general assumption that the US is responsible for every thing since WWII and that if the US touched it it must be evil.
