How do you define "dumb"?

Someone who refuses to explore alternative narratives and divergent opinions. Someone who pretty much has the whole world already figured out through resort to one simplistic narrative while refusing the actual complexity of human events and lives.

In other words, Ras and Pacer. Which is interesting considering they're guilty of the things they constantly accuse all of us of. To give the average dumb Russian some credit though, s/he can't help it so much because it's ingrained in their psyche from birth to basically refuse to question the world around them. Ras and Pacer make the decision to limit their minds to one narrative of their own volition.

Actually, now that I think of it more, maybe the average dumb Russian is just ignorant, and Ras and Pacer are just dumb.

So they are instantly on top of reporters outside of military hospitals but are clueless about opposition leaders assassinated outside the Kremlin. The fact they instantly call the cab driver, know him by name, and ask him specifics about the passengers and what they were doing. The details this person knew.

The fact they even have people camped out around cemeteries to scare off and beat up reporters looking for those killed in Ukraine. This whole thing just blows me away. Tell me this is normal. And worth defending for something that allegedly is not even taking place....

What the uncle said at the end is the truth and the culture that I've said exists. Ras and Pacer continue to deny this but even Russians themselves if asked for the truth will admit this. Russia is a fascist nation thanks to Putin. Sad to see a nation trying so hard to break this mindset after 1991 that it only took this long to come full circle.

Someone either quote my posting of that Ghost Army video or post it yourself. Ras and Pacer can't see it.

Not that it matters.

It's a shame how Putin's government is treating them and their families, as well as anyone who has the audacity to inquire about them.

I've posted several videos and asked for their comments. Yet to see anything besides the usual not related to those videos.

That's not the dictionary's definition of dumb.

There's millions of Americans who fit the above bill.

An interesting thing about Russians is how quickly their opinion of America (per polling) has soured. Just within the last year it has taken a significant hit.

They put that much stock in what they see on TV news?

Haven't answered your fascist inquiry either. You would think that would be a question you'd immediately want to squash. To Pacer's credit, when I finally accused him of being more neo-Nazi than the figureheads in Kiev (not necessarily a neo-Nazi himself - just a general fascist), he decided to put me on Ignore.

Truth hurts.

When the news portrays America the way it has over the past year, yes. One event in the news can shape the mood of America. Imagine a year of getting a single concept over and over with nothing countering it? Fill in the blank with your HuffPo/MSNBC or FoxNews examples depending on your ideology....

The dictionary has no better concept of the word than I do. It's just a word.

And I admitted that there were numerous average dumb Americans, didn't I?

That was the premise to my calculation.

Like I said in my following post, perhaps it's a matter of them being ignorant, more so than dumb.

So, you finally admitting a major event can shape the mind of America?! Especially when it's repeated over and over....whether true or not?!

CIA Urged Rebels to Assassinate Their Own In Order to Create "Martyrs" Washington's Blog

A CIA “psychological operations” manual prepared by a CIA contractor for the Nicaraguan Contra rebels noted the value of assassinating someone on your own side to create a “martyr” for the cause.

The manual was authenticated by the U.S. government.

The manual received so much publicity from Associated Press, Washington Post and other media that – during the 1984 presidential debate – President Reagan was confronted with the following question on national television:
At this moment, we are confronted with the extraordinary story of a CIA guerrilla manual for the anti-Sandinista contras whom we are backing, which advocates not only assassinations of Sandinistas but the hiring of criminals to assassinate the guerrillas we are supporting in order to create martyrs.
Indeed, this is just one of scores of admitted false flag attacks by governments all over the world.

So, you finally admitting a major event can shape the mind of America?! Especially when it's repeated over and over....whether true or not?!

9/11 definitely shaped America's mindset. While the media played its part the event itself was far more shaping than the media's role.

The difference is that media here in America has endless sources and viewpoints. You seem to think everyone is on the same page with the same talking points here in the US. While money is the driving factor with media here, the viewpoints will differ. Compare it to Russia - you have all media owned by a single source and mindset. You do not have different corporations owning different media. The state owns the media. Who runs the state runs the media. Putin controls the message. Does Obama control FNC? Daily Caller? Drudge? infowars? Or even some of the left leaning ones? There may be likeminded people in those roles they will turn on Obama just as easily as being on board with him. In Russia there is no major media player that differs from the Kremlin. Two different worlds. We have factioned news here. They have single source. Having the same message on all channels has a profound effect.

Are you implying that a manual written by a low level contractor never approved for publication in the mid 80's is somehow involved with Russian opposition parties in 2015? Where is this tinfoil theory going?

Arguing with Pacer and Ras is like stealing candy from a baby while the mother just laughs in its face.

It's embarrassing.

At least Red actually forces you to think and come up with a legitimate counter.

I just really would love to know how this whole US knocked him off act was supposed to pan out. Putin controls the media. Somehow we knock off the best alternative/opposition to Putin only to see Putin's media squash any "uprising" we instigated with evidence the US was involved. All this would do is waste our best ally and ensure Putin seals off Russia from ANY hope of the people moving against Putin. Putin could craft the evidence to clearly implicate us and seal the door shut and guarantee himself dictator for life. I'm really struggling here to understand any line of thought that this was our whole move and plan.

How is America portrayed in Ukraine?

Well it varies. For a while America was portrayed as a great ally and partner. For the hope America would help arm Ukraine, it was all positive. The longer this transpires the more our image drops. Lip service is the term of choice. They still for the most part see us positively.

They know how ridiculous their comments are. They just don't give a damn.
