Ukraine Protests

I agree wholeheartedly, but the fact he was gunned down in front of the kremlin leaves room for conspiracy, if you get my drift?!

They may as well had left the murder weapon, a confession letter and a bread crumb trail or bloody footprints to the Kremlin...

Seems too obvious and overt.

Can't have it both ways. They can't say that he's sneaking troops into Ukraine covertly but then assassinates an alleged critic so overtly.

We will have to see about this as more info comes out.

You were probably last place in Philosophy 101, weren't you?

Your logic is as about as sound as my 84 year old grandmother thinking god has blessed her knee caps, which she can no longer walk on. Sounds great, but ain't happening.

Seriously, you make no sense. Your premises make absolutely no sense here.

Freak, I'm seriously asking you once again to banish Rasputin Vol.

I know I've done a lot of bad things on here, and if I have to go down with him, then I happily will.

But I'm asking you, please. The guy is a complete troll. He is a fascist to boot. Don't believe me? Just read his posts.

I'm tired of his hate. And I'm tired of his spinning of events, which never make any sense whatsoever.

He's only here to get a rile out of other posters, and I resent that. I at least try to have a legitimate conversation with other posters, although I admittedly get nasty at times.

Like I said. Take me out if you need, but please take Rasputin out. He is a very hateful and dangerous poster. I will gladly accept my VolNation demise if it means Rasputin's as well. He makes me sick.

I must admit that it's disturbing news and looks bad on Putin!

Let me pose this question tho.....doesn't Putin have the connections and means to have this done in a more "private" setting?! Just odd that it was out in public like that...

Private setting? If an opposition leader planning a rally two days from now dies in a closet rather than a public street, the same questions arise. This is the guy who is invading a neighbor in plain site but through low key means. This is a man who has seized control of the economy and the media from his opponents. This is the same man that concocted a war to get into power. This is a man who kicked out of the country one opponent (Khodorkovsky), jail another (Navalny), and now another mysteriously is murdered.

Not really sure Putin is a private setting kind of guy. KGB never was a subtle organization.

I am. If we just follow the Constitution and the advice of the founders, we wouldn't be scattered all over the globe with our military...

Care to take that up with Jefferson? He might have not agreed with you.

And for a guy defending Putin it's amusing you are telling anyone about keeping the Constitution.

That is more than enough motive for a false flag...

Explain the rest of his opposition being jailed, deported, blackmailed, etc. Nemtsov was the last political threat. False flag is really a cute phrase especially when the culprit has already done this repeatedly. Ask Litvinenko. Ask Yushchenko as well.

What surprises me is that within site of the Kremlin - the most security driven place in Russia - a man is shot right in the street. I've been all around there many times and see FSB, police, militia, etc. all patrolling the streets. Where were they then? Witnesses? Suspects? Anyone see anything there? If security which used to be tight is this lax now, Putin has some serious questions to answer.

Here's a subtle list of "private" killings as well.

List of journalists killed in Russia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And apparently, Nemtsov had some information about Putin and Ukraine that he was planning on releasing.

Don't confuse my desire to be fair and balanced on both sides of this as being 100% loyalty to Putin. My thing is that now I am fully aware of what the US is capable of doing and how we have a tendency to instigate a lot of these problems.

Forgot about Anna Politkovskaya.

If I saw fair and balanced coming from you, I'd believe that statement. You use a single viewpoint, single source of info, defend one side, slam the other side, claim wild unsourced conspiracies and try to discredit anything and everything counter to your belief. Fair and balanced is far removed from your posts here. You are about as fair and balanced as FNC. You may be aware of what the US is capable of doing but have completely ignored the far worse that comes from Putin's actions. I hate to break it to you but anyone of a KGB background makes anything we do here look like preschool nap time.

Interfax source: police now searching slain Nemtsov's apartment for docs, will seize his hard drive, question his neighbors.

Yes, let's finish the cleanup and destroy any evidence and damage this man can cause the regime.

There a pic of the crime scene being hosed down by police on Twitter. Not sure that's the best thing for forensic evidence collection though.

"Nemtsov was working on a report presenting evidence that he believed proved Russia's direct involvement in the separatist rebellion that has raged in eastern Ukraine since last April. Ukraine and the West accuse Russia of backing the rebels with troops and sophisticated weapons. Moscow denies the accusations."

News from The Associated Press

Now Putin said earlier this murder was "an act of provocation". Provocation by whom? I really hope we don't find a "Ukrainian killer" and this be some Franz Ferdinand's been shot nonsense.

Saw it. Washing away the evidence. Cleaning up everything. His girlfriend apparently just came back from Kyiv this evening. That and his "evidence on Russian involvement in Ukraine" report makes me go into Ras mode even more.

I think that's what some people think. That Putin will trot up a Right Sector "terrorist" and use it as some form of justification to go further into Ukraine to bring those "responsible" to "justice".

You're probably the most impressive CSI in the wôrld! You're thousands of miles away and you already have all the evidence and proof you need to convict Putin of murder.

Slow your roll a little bit! There's just as much reason to support this was a provocation, like Putin stated, as not.

You remind me of our govt immediately accusing Russia/seperatist 1 hour after MH17 was shot down. We see where that went...

Oh, and like Russia saying they tracked Su-25's shooting it down as well. Or they were trying to shoot Putin down when he was hundreds of miles away. Or the supposed AN transport that was really the target according to the terrorists? Please.

Seeing the fate of all Putin's other opposition and knowing many opponents have been assassinated under his watch? Sorry, but the Ras tinfoil conspiracy meter is going off on this one. As for CSI, I think there is far more substance to these theories than a phone call being indicative of a US coup. Your statement of being thousands of miles away....funny. Says the anonymous person convicting the US, exonerating Russia in what is going on in Ukraine. I hear you.

This happened in the most secure section of Russia. This happened to a top opposition leader you know is constantly being watched. Difficult to believe someone shoots 6+ times at someone in the street within view of the Kremlin and more details not known.

Seems to be a Charlie Hebdo/Muslim extremist angle going on Russian media. Is Putin trying to distract from Ukraine with unifying the world against the Muslims? He's picked up his rhetoric on this a lot lately. He's used Chechens for these types of operations before.

When this crisis is finally over, I do believe that Pacer and Ras should start a comedy routine together. I think it would do really well. The only reason why I'm not willing to pay to see it at the moment is because it's free here. But cut out the free performances, and I would be willing to pay.

For Ras and Pacer's enjoyment. These are not western MSM conspiracy theories here. This is documented comments coming from Russian leaders. This was a video that was part of the work Boris Nemtsov was working on with tying Russia to events in Ukraine. A report with more evidence was forthcoming before Nemtsov's murder.
