Ukraine Protests

For Ras and Pacer....making sure you note the source of this video. Notice the first few tanks in the video T-72B3's. A Russian state owned news report documenting Russian high tech non-export model tanks in Ukraine. More Russian identifiers. And noticeable Soviet flags. At least they are honest.

There sources early saying they heard heavy artillery fire in Donetsk.

I've seen a lot of media reporting that today. More than earlier in the week. Also saw a map with the line moving further north of Debaltseve in the past 24 hours. Apparently the DNR is not satisfied with taking this town and the fact there is a ceasefire.

I'm worried that there will be a lull in the fighting allow DNR forces the chance to consolidate their territory and launch a new offensive for the spring fighting season.

That's already the going-theory about Mariupol.

I'm about mountains. I've been down to the Caucasus and it is a little too southwest US for me. I love the Urals. Anything further south than that has to deal with mosquitoes the size of birds. Good land for farming, thick woods for hunting. And very remote.

I'd take all of Siberia and the Russian Far East. Let the Urals serve as a buffer zone. Bring in some American engineers and scientists that can actually make something of the place for a change and call it a day. The Russians could keep their state in the European part.

You better bring a lot of people and build a big, warm house with a lot of features inside. Seriously cold and dark for a good amount of the year. It's beautiful and nice to visit but not to live. You'd want to live as far south as you could get. Find you a babushka to cook for you and keep house.

All, I'm already planning on having me 100 babushkas.

When Volprof invades a nation, he doesn't play around.

Here's our next fertile imprint, friends.

We'll create havoc in China, not that there isn't enough already, but, hey, they could always use some more.

Between offsetting Russia and China, and fomenting internal instability in both of those countries, they are rife for the taking.

I guess the next natural question is what part of China do you want?

Honestly, not a damn bit. China doesn't really do it for me. Maybe somewhere in the foothills of the Tien Shen? Maybe? But, I will gladly sacrifice numerous other Americans to take it.

What part of China would you like?

:aggressive:

The food part is bizarre. This part sounded brutal:

Chinese state media reported that police officers had “gunned down 59 terrorists and arrested 215 others” in response to a late July terror attack that killed 37 civilians and injured 13 others.

Gunned down?

BBC News - Football racism still rife in 2018 World Cup host Russia

Not Ukraine related but I'm hoping the world boycotts the 2018 World Cup.

I'm definitely for boycotting the 2022 in Qatar. That's the biggest bunch of bull**** in the history of sports. FIFA is apparently going to move it to winter time now so that players and fans won't die in the heat.

The best solution to this problem was never giving Qatar the cup in the first place. Of course, when money is being passed along like a corrupt Russian businessman to mogul Putin, unseemly things happen, and, unfortunately a lot of people (migrant laborers) have died in the process.

I don't care a whole lot for soccer, but, I'll be honest, the Qatar Cup should take FIFA down. It should cease as a ruling entity because of that. Burn it down and start anew.
