Ukraine Protests

And apparently Putin is back on the whole gas kick again threatening Ukraine being cut off. The two faced comments from this guy really are classic. All within a short period of time you get both of these actual Putin quotes:

Putin: "Kiev's gas cutoff in east Ukraine smacks of genocide."

Putin: "Gazprom cutting off gas to Ukraine is just business."

you should know better than to post MSM drivel dizzy. The Baltic Course is clearly an American funded/run project to smear Russian integrity.

Yeah, I did see recruitment job fair ads for the CIA as well as advertisements for TechCamp. I just thought it a coincidence. Gullible me.

Putin using it to justify more military adventurism in Ukraine. Also saw where the Russians announced military build-up in the Chukotka region, closet Russian territory to Alaska can you say more provocation? Finally Poland has announced they too will start sending combat advisers to help train Ukrainian government forces.

if there is any country over there willing to do anything to stop Russia it is Poland. it would not take much to get them involved.

I need to go back and track the tweets I saw but there were some interesting ones going around yesterday with the release of this Russia story of involvement before Maidan. They had comparisons with sudden bursts in activity in eastern Ukraine, Russian "training exercises" along the western military districts especially near Ukraine, as well as radio transmissions from "The Buzzer". Action against Crimea, the surge last summer, Minsk I and II, and the Debaltseve attack all had matches in the activities of the three mentions above.

For those not familiar with "The Buzzer" - interesting transmission going back to the Cold War. It is a frequency of static and periodic coded transmissions. It is based on Russia. And again, a lot of the frequent activities going on with Russia and within Ukraine all have releases of codes given on a mostly quiet frequency. Coincidence?

Any shortwave geeks out there?

The Buzzer

The Buzzer

I posted a few pages back about the Buzzer and the code being blasted a few days ago that was used prior to Crimea. I can't help but speculate something is in the works.

Could have been the Latvian's idea.

Don't make me repeat that Pacer92 has a point.

He'd have a point if the long grocery list of Russia's actions well prior to this did not already happen. Hard to point the finger at the US as the provocateur here when they are actually very late if anything in ensuring a NATO ally is protected. Again, Russia already crossed Estonia's border and kidnapped a government agent they have no intent to return. In a blatant violation and an aggressive act against a fellow NATO member, should we not do something visible both for reminding Russia NATO is an alliance as well as reassuring the people of Estonia we are committed to that alliance? Again, Russia moves first, we react but yet get the blame. If we parked Patriot batteries pointing east you may have a point. If we put something more substantive yes, there would be a question as to it being too far. But this size?

What about seeing this in St Petersburg kindergarten classes this week? This is not very far from Narva either. Not exactly comforting to see Russian military pushing this sort of culture among the 5 year olds because of news events.

The European ties Russia is binding closer

Having to go back and play catch-up. Does Russia have TechCamp as well? Holy crap! I can work for both sides! I didn't think Russia meddled in elections....

I guess coddling various fascist and communist parties to undermine European politics is only something the US does. Seeing 40 million Euros invested in a far right party of the country not handing over the Mistrals? This has innocence written all over it....

i got to say that is pretty American of them, Texas would be proud. (the picture)

Radio codes? They should communicate via snapchat.

I didn't say America is the provocateur. I say (1) the border parade is unnecessary; and (2) could be viewed as provocative, given the current climate [obviously Russian media is playing it that way].

Again wow at some of the comments in there. some very racist ones in there about the white man needing to be saved in Europe, and Russia being the one to do it. diversity is a hard pill to swallow apparently. (Berlin Olympics anyone?)

i have been doing some digging in the parade and it seems we cut back our usual involvement.
AP Wire Story - LaGrange Daily News - lagrangenews.com

Estonia's military said Wednesday the usual flyovers by NATO fighters during such parades were not held because international regulations forbid military flights near international borders.

seems like the 4 APCs were replacements used instead of aircraft.

I'm sure that was intended to scare NATO! Lol

You will run with ANYTHING! I bet you subscribe to the enquirer...

Again you cite Pravda, they are worse than "mainstream" Kremlin media. Seriously there was a vague "NATO unit" in Debaltseve really?

And I'll keep citing them....there is two sides to every story. You seem to ignore that fact. If it comes from something other than MSM it's unbelievable, right?!

When are you guys going to realize that MSM is controlled and censored by the US, just like all of NATO and other puppets. It ONLY tells the side that benefits us and most of it is fabrication and down right lies...

So you truly believe the volunteer battalions will rape, pillage, and burn their way through Europe with Soviet era weapons and limited troop numbers?

dont forget Transnistria was founded peacefully, despite the on going ceasefire. and don't leave out how Ukraine is the only side apparently using big guns.

and this gem

Most likely, this urgency of the talks and Kiev's pliability were based on that. When the Ukrainian leaders see that they are about the fail, they negotiate.
uhm yeah because Ukraine was losing so badly before Minsk I

That side is nutsville. And takes other nuts to take them seriously.
