Yet they had no problem recognizing the elections in Kiev...
One of the things that frustrates me so much is how media outlets like RT constantly try to portray America as not only the source of all problems in the world but as a cesspool of crime, racism, homelessness, poverty, and violence.
Put this in your pipe and smoke it, RT.
African migrants in Russia describe 'hell on Earth' - LA Times
You not only have a higher crime and murder rate, you're also just as racist. Congratulations!
It still doesn't change the fact that we have the largest prison population on the planet, we spread debt, death and misery all across the globe and the treatment those Africans are receiving today in Russia pales in comparison to what blacks saw here in America.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
too many white people
i know i know, racist. fricking white people.
The outcome of the vote was never in much doubt. Rather than offering a range of plausible opposition candidates, the voting for members of Parliament and heads of state in Donetsk and Luhansk was significant in highlighting Ukraines loss of control over those territories, and Russias strengthening influence.
After voting, Mr. Zakharchenko said he had cast his vote for peace, the news agency RIA Novosti reported, because the election would force the central government in Kiev to recognize us and give us our land back without a fight. He added that he would establish good diplomatic relations.

These are the remarks of a humanitarian political leader, the like of which the world has not seen in my lifetime.

He seems pretty level headed to me, but I'd be interested in others' perspective on how they interpret the speech.

A reminder: our "humanitarian" is a strong ally of someone who is dropping barrel bombs on civilians.

Paul Craig Roberts is like Alex Jones with an advanced degree or two.
Roberts also has a very long resume to go along with his degrees. IMO he shouldn't be compared to a shock jock. Are we at the point where every former government official that criticizes our foreign policy is going to be branded a conspiracy theorist?
And yes, I'm well aware of his resume and the fact that he served under Reagan. That alone would make you scratch your head in wonder at his heaping high praise on a former member of the KGB.
