'It's better not to mess with Russia': Putin's nuclear warning to West on Ukraine | Mail Online
Putin makes a dumbass comment about nuclear weapons. He then goes on to talk about his "weapons systems being more modern". Who even does that? If you're talking about your weapons systems being modern you're probably fos. I wish somebody would kick his ass and put the film on Youtube.
You mean you haven't heard about that little Japanese woman (even smaller than Putin), who threw him all over the place when he visited Japan some years ago? I don't think there's any video of it but there are images.
Ten-year anniversary of the Beslan school hostage crisis.
Can you imagine the reaction if something like that happened in America?
I still can't believe it hasn't. Thank goodness most of these guys have either been buffoons (underwear bomber, for instance) or thinking "big time" (economic and geopolitical impact as well) too much to direct their aims that way.
Something on that scale might be difficult to pull off, but I don't know why we've not seen more suicide bombers and mass shootings.
Remember all the chaos the DC snipers caused? Just a couple guys randomly shooting.
BBC News - Ukraine crisis: Government setbacks in Luhansk and Donetsk
Ukrainian forces are suffering major losses the past weeks and are pretty much in full retreat, nearly 700 soldiers have been taken prisoner. They also just abandoned the Luhansk airport giving the Russians an area to bring down supplies now. If the Russians take Mariupol, I don't see them stopping until the reach Odessa.
So you go from being a puppet of Russia to becoming part a bloated and corrupt European Union? No thanks, I'd take one look at the Eurozone and say thanks but no thanks real quick.
I do know this, however, I will never ever never accept Russia's official explanation of events. It's been doing **** exactly like this for too long to just be gleaned away as some sort of Western plot.
I'm not sure that Obama should do anything in this situation:
Obama under pressure to wield more than 'rhetoric' in Ukraine crisis | Fox News
Other than the thorn in Russia's side, there is nothing strategically at stake here so I'm not sure if we should be doing anything other than rhetoric and supporting the sanctions. And there really isn't much out of Congress about it from the normal channels begging for military intervention.
Think this one is worth sitting out for Americans in my opinion. And make contact with the new government when it's all said and done.
Since we'll probably hit 5000 in this forum within the next couple of weeks or so, I thought I'd take a look back through some of the thread. I had no further to look than the first page to find this gem.
I'm surprised Rasputin hasn't called you out on this yet. haha! Lucy, you got some 'splaining to do. Would you like to account for this post, Burhead?
Honestly, my assessment of the situation and its root causes has changed on almost a weekly basis. And it will continue to change, so I don't fault anyone else.
