Ukraine Protests

Years from now, I'm sure international historians will look back at this upcoming conference and proclaim loudly, "This. This is the moment the world took a step towards peace."

At press time, we're still waiting on responses from the separatist delegates in Chechnya, Bashkiria, Tatarstan, Crimea, Karelia, and Siberia, however, as to whether or not they'll attend or, indeed, as to whether or not they were even invited.

Kind of frightening when someone thinks Putin is too sissy to rule Russia. Of course, this makes more sense when that person is Stalin's grandson.

I'm trying to find the answer to your question, but I think it has something to do with making things easier for NATO to intervene in Ukraine. If the UN makes a formal declaration that Russia is a terrorist state, then that invokes some agreement or loophole to allow boots on the ground and heavier military support. I'm going off of memory right now and can't find the source, but it boils down to allowing countries to take the gloves off if a country is declared a terrorist state.

And yes, the Ukrainian suggestion here is stupid. UN won't do it though, so none-issue.

The UN won't do anything, but the not meeting with rebel leaders seemed significant. But maybe that's just wrong.

However, representatives for the rebels, Russia, Ukraine and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe left the government compound late evening on Saturday after spending four hours behind closed doors.

Ukraine's envoy, Leonid Kuchma, was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying that the talks were derailed after the rebel representatives "refused to discuss steps to bring a complete cease-fire and the withdrawal of heavy weaponry."

Apparently Kerry won't meet with them. Love the terminology:

TASS: World - Washington rules out Kerry

US Secretary of State John Kerry is not planning to meet with the representatives of the eastern Ukrainian self-defence militias during his trip to the country next week, US Department of State Spokesperson Jen Psaki said on Friday.

Yeah, I saw that last night when I was looking around. That doesn't really go in to much detail.

Basically, since Ukraine is not a NATO member, they cannot invoke Article 5, so they are using this as a way to sidestep that technicality by the United Nations proclaiming Russia as a terrorist state. As of right now, all they have been able to do is send in "advisers" and sneak in weapons and supplies at a trickle (which I wouldn't put past Russia doing at the same time in eastern Ukraine). The UN declaration would however allow them to be more open and get things stepped up another notch.

Brazilian bikini girl, I'm sorry to tell you, but your sick fantasies aren't going to be realized.

You'd probably just love for the US/NATO to bomb Russia and start a nuclear war, that way you could sit on here and brag about how you called that and how you called the collapse of the US dollar.

Well, sir, not all of us are as sick-minded as you are.
And thank god. That's not going to happen.

So go find another sick fantasy to buy into.

If they had a legitimate complaint I suppose it would be different.

To date, however, it seems their biggest complaint is that the guy who was stealing money from them all left town in the middle of the night.

But, by god, he was their thief!

Actually we had openly said we are sending them aid, remember 5.2 billion or some piddly amount from congress

Could someone who is in his heinous's good graces, ask him why he's so obsessed with NATO and Russia? Does his heinous really think NATO/US will attack Russia?

Thank you.

I believe the Lusitania was a false flag but Pearl Harbor is a leap for me. I'm pretty sure we knew Pearl Harbor was coming and didn't do anything to stop it however.

OK, well technically, that isnt a false flag. We just provoked the situation with the oil embargo and pretty much left them no other choice...

Dear God. I suppose Hitler was left with no choice either except to kill the Jews after they ruined Germany. Gtfo out with that. We aren't allowed to say who we trade with? We aren't allowed to say no to an empire which had been killing the Chinese in droves? Considering your support of Russia I can actually believe you seeing pearl harbor being our fault. You know we acted on the intelligence we had right? Battleships were useless and the same result would have happened in an open water battle. But instead of surprise attack that rallied a nation it would have been a demoralizing defeat, which likely would have cost us our carriers too. Japan had planned on invading, our carriers were reserved to deal with that. The only reason yamato called it off was because he was spooked that our carriers weren't there. And that's ignoring the fact that we rushed an extra carrier in from San Diego to the middle of the pacific (damn big ocean) on month old Intel after the worlds strongest navy up and disappeared, no radio contact for weeks in that day in age is better than any stealth we now have. On that Intel our naval high command left the western seaboard wide open even after the auletians (alaska) got invaded by the japs. Do some freaking reading before you go anti american. I don't mind the crap with Russia because at least you don't have the benefit of 20/20 hindsight and do have a good point once in a blue moon but this is just ridiculous. Japan was at complete fault and the military knew they were waking the bear, yamatk begged not to goad us, but when he was forced he decided the only way he could was if he went all out and took us out of the pacific war in one sucker Punch ch, which he almost did.

Gave you a like because it's spot on, but you know that's pretty much wasted bandwidth with who you are trying to talk to.

Well, he just rationalized genocide (which is a new low for him), but at least he doesn't have a pottymouth.
