That might be the most ridiculous article I've ever read, to take a page from Roberts' own hyperbole. I mean, it just gets loonier the further you read.

And why would China want to mess with the US? We keep the Middle East open for all their stupid oil companies to go in and drill to make money for China, while the Chinese govt. and military sit on their asses.

Why is it ridiculous? Because it's not pro-American?

And you sound like you're saying we go to war for oil? Is this what you're saying?

can someone explain the "four" and "five" column thing, i get that the "fifth" are the evil American traitors but what is the whole system referring too?

No. It's ridiculous because the man uses hyperbole like a kindergartener and fears a monster underneath every bed, once again, just like a kindergartener.

I thought it had reached the high point of ridiculousness when he represented the Crimean vote as some sort of triumph of self-determination, but was amazed to see that it was only downhill from that point.

from that guys mouth, it seems Russia and China, Europe are fine with the US running the show, so if they don't have a problem, why do some of you guys get so worked up over it?

Lol at everything being ridiculous that doesn't shed a good light on the USA.

Don't think they have much choice from my perspective. It's just the hypocrisy that gets me worked up. We berate other countries intentions, while doing the same and worse.

If Russia and China understood the deadly threat that Washington presents, both governments would operate according to the time honored principle that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Russia and China would arm ISIS with surface to air missiles to bring down the American planes and with military intelligence in order to achieve an American defeat. With defeat would come the overthrow of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and all of the American puppet rulers in the area. Washington would lose control over oil, and the petro-dollar would be history. It is extraordinary that instead Russia and China are working to protect Washington’s control over the Middle East and the petro-dollar.

Yes, that would be awesome for everyone.

I don't know that guys sources, but I haven't heard anything about us expanding air bases into the south pacific. The Phillipines have been flirting with the idea of statehood or at least rejoining the US as a territory, and apparently there is another vote coming up??? But i didn't see anything about us putting military forces over there.

and at some point being the world's police has to have some benefit to us, and don't go all petrodollar on me here.

also China has been expanding into our hemisphere and we haven't freaked out. The Nicaraguan Canal and solar programs, as well as a ton of other Chinese funded and operated programs in many pacific south american countries. And as much as China props up these projects they just hurt the local economy, or at least dont help, for typical Chinese reasons, chinese work force, chinese materials, completely ignoring environments and local cultures and customs

We expand under the disguise of NATO.

Yeah *except that none of the SOUTH PACIFIC countries have applied to the NORTH ATLANTIC TRADE ORGANIZATION. and as I have pointed out the only expansion would be the Philippines rejoining the US, based on their choice alone, we let them go and they want back in (or at least a portion of the population does) But keep up the line dude, it seems to be working for you.

Thanks for the clarification! I didn't know that...

With South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and more are enough.

Australia has a toe in the door being with the UK, but isn't recognized as a memeber, as for the rest....

http://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/51288.htm

not part of the NATO chain of command at all, and just volunteer relationships at that, which NATO has no ability to govern, make requirements of, or use without the countries permission.

wouldn't it be so much better if these countries weren't engaged in cordial relations and just fought out there problems individually? <----- blue font before someone gets confused
