UGA collapsing

I dont know about all this georgia is collasping this is the type of thing that happen to programs that recruit the way they do...they are still one of the most talented rosters in the country most of those 5 stars that transfered besides FIELDS N MAYS didnt make the field and the rest went to the nfl so they are far from collapsing

-Jake fromm entering 2020 NFL draft
-Cade Mays entering transfer portal
-Zack Evans not playing for UGA despite signing.

Big things happened today. What is happening over there?

IDK about collapsing but I'd be willing to bet that their chances of being SEC Champions next year went down about 10% in one day. Big swing!

Good grief. If some of you can’t see why both these decisions are not in their immediate interests, I don’t know what to say.
I'm not sure what you're saying.

Getting paid now is definitely in Fromm's immediate interests. It's most likely in his long term interests as well, considering he will be a top 60 pick and it's highly doubtful he would improve his stock substantially with another season after putting 3 seasons on tape for scouts.

For Mays, they obviously believe it's in his long term interests. And they probably think they can win an appeal considering his brother and his fathers lawsuit as factors.

I just don't think you have to frame it as they are running out of some imaginary burning building to make sense of either decision. Jmo.

There is no way UF is coming into Neyland next year and winning. We will be fresh off an "upset" of OU and Neyland will be hostile. You're out of your mind if you think UF has a shot.

Depends on our qb play if we beat ou. Good qb play yes we can beat them.

Kirby has a hard time telling the truth...it's starting to catch up to him.
The most impressive part of the Bama dynasty isn't the talent, it's getting talent and then leaving them on the bench for 3 years.

With the transfer portal getting more and more of an option to kids, I just don't think you can do that any more.

I don't think Georgia is falling apart. It's not rocket science. You've got 40 kids on the roster you all told were good enough to start. A lot are going to leave. Kirby knows this. He most likely just believes he can keep restocking every year and make up for the attrition. Unfortunately there isn't any evidence yet that he can't.

Now whether or not that is a better strategy than building a team through 2-3 years of development.. Time will tell. The scheme starts to fall apart when either

A. Georgia continues laying eggs every year

Or

B. Georgia stops getting kids drafted.

Mays started almost every game

I agree with every thing you said.
If there is an exception it would be that Saben is up front with his players.

SEC East next year:

1) Florida
2) Tennessee
3) Georgia
I definitely think uga will have more upsets/losses next year. Can't wait for them to be knocked down a peg or 2. I don't know what it is, but their fans have been absolute trash this year. I kid you not, it didnt matter if it was a thread posted on here, another UT board, or a Vol fan's & player's tweet, there were damn dawg trolls talking $h!t. I'm over them and their stupid team.

Given our recent past with FLA, it is not completely insane to think FLA has a shot, even if they start their 3rd string QB.

Having said that, if we keep our head in the game, I think we pull it out.

Most of them are bandwagon......couldnt tell you who the coach before Kirby is. Thankfully it looks like they'll soon be jumping back off 😁

Lol they kept telling me I should stop talking football because I had no idea what I was talking about, how they own the east, they're happy with Kirby, enjoy losing to them again next season, blah, blah, blah 😂

Based on most of the posts on this string, I guess we can count on UGA to be our #6 powder-puff game, they'll be lucky to win 3 or 4 games at most next year. Maybe we can hang a 41-0 on them, as they did to us in 2017!

Dude, maybe not collapse, but outlook for their offense doesn't look good. No QB, most of their starting o-line gone. Two star rb's gone. The way Kirby handled Cade's transferring is not a good look. Evans changing his mind. Coley sucks and he'll be back next season. Yes they have top recruits coming in but they lost all that experienced talent so their offense next year will be young and Coleys calling the plays. They will likely lose more games next season. In fact, I'd bet money on it.
