Circa Sports released its odds on next Saturday's road matchup against Tennessee, and the Bulldogs began as 22.5-point favorites over the Volunteers. The line has since moved to Georgia being a 25-point favorite. ESPN's FPI gives Georgia a 91.3 percent chance to win, which is up from 88.3 last week and is the third-highest win percentage for the Bulldogs in the eight remaining games, lower than only Kentucky (94 percent) and Georgia Tech (98.4 percent). The Bulldogs are 23-23-2 all-time against Tennessee. Georgia has won the last two in the series, with a 38-12 home win in 2018 against then first-year head coach Jeremy Pruitt and a 41-0 road win in 2017 that handed Tennessee its first shut out since Florida (31-0) in 1993. The numbers are all kind of bleak.

I’m old enough to remember when we had a commanding lead in the head to head series....and it wasn’t that long ago.

This stretch since about 2000 has decimated our history and record books.

It’s going to be a strange game. The feeling is in the air. I think it’s going to be an off rhythm game.

History repeats itself. Just a matter of time.

Yeah...you’re probably right, but so much of our history has been lost that can never be reclaimed.

Longest win streak (KY)
One of two teams never to have lost 8
Top 3 in bowl wins
Top 5 all time wins

The list goes on....and it will never be reclaimed. This stuff is important, and so many of the current generation of fans don’t realize where we stood in CF history just a few years ago.

The last decade and a half have decimated us.

We come out smoking, but both teams can’t find any steam. I think it is going to be a slow game by both, We haven’t had a weird game in a while. Both teams struggle in this one. It is in our favor though.

I am not sure why but my gut says this is going to be a weird game too. I know it is probably just a bad chalupa but after seeing North Carolina scare the living daylights out of Clemson this weekend I am liking the underdog role.

I could get on board with this if I thought we could avoid the Q1 critical errors we've had in every game this year so far, other than UTC. Get behind early and we seem to go into mental shut down mode.

Sorry, you and me and everyone else just as well like the underdog role that's what we got.

I'll cut my beard if we score at least 14 and manage to not have another 25+ point loss.

I don’t know how this offense scores enough to keep our defense fresh and in this game. I could actually see the defense getting it together and giving them a game. I just don’t see JG doing anything productive.

A turnover here or there for us and its a game for a while. Sure I can see that. That ST turnover they had against ND put them behind the 8 ball a bit on their last game.

But the reality is its a game until UGA decides to put us into a choke hold in the second half with defensive pressure and their run game. We can't stop their offense for 4 quarters. Not gonna happen. On top of that we can't score. Individually those will lose you games. Combined they will be ugly.
