I’ve posted before that I don’t think it’s so much that espn ‘hates’ us so much as there is a cultural bias against the program, but particularly the fans, at the network. Most of the people who were there during the heisman fiasco are long gone, but I think it’s woven into the institutional culture at this point. Reasonable minds can differ, but I tire of the negative coverage our fan base gets from them.

Surely they can get a field goal in garbage time when UGA has all of their walk-ons on the field. Personally I am thinking 58-3 final score. 7 touchdowns and they still have Blankenship kicking who has to be in his 7th season by now.

Your kidding yourself if you think taking a whooping on national TV during prime time is "good coverage".

Longtime lurker, first-time poster. I really believe the game is going to be more competitive than you all believe. Pruitt will be fired up to beat his old employer. When we've been favored to win comfortably in years past we've fallen on our faces, especially in Neyland. And the Florida game was closer than the final score indicated.

Bottom line: If you guys can lose to Georgia State, we can lose to you.

Trashing your own team on a message board of that team is OK in my book. Trashing a team on their own board is not. I don't go to VT boards and trash Tech. That was my point. Based on the fact that ND stood strong against uga, I have to believe VOL_Lyfe's comment was tongue in cheek.

That said, no worries. Tennessee is a long way from being able to talk trash about anyone outside the city of Chattanooga.
