I’ve posted before that I don’t think it’s so much that espn ‘hates’ us so much as there is a cultural bias against the program, but particularly the fans, at the network. Most of the people who were there during the heisman fiasco are long gone, but I think it’s woven into the institutional culture at this point. Reasonable minds can differ, but I tire of the negative coverage our fan base gets from them.

Read any article about Schiano Sunday, and ask yourself if that same article is written about Ohio State if it had happened there. Alabama? Texas? Georgia??

Nope. Despite the fact that Schiano has yet to be scooped up as the most awesome coach in the world as portrayed on ESPN, we are still the butt of jokes on that network for daring to object to yet another House of Haslam catastrophic hire.
