Yeah after a night of sleeping on it I’d agree. I don’t think you can allow some of Khabib’s team back in but he should be alright now that he’s at AKA
100% he can fake outrage, but he knows this amps up a second fight 50 fold. Which is a joke that a rematch is even being discussed right now. Khabib V Tony and Lee V CMG, then go from there. IMO
Everyone got their money’s worth before the main event even took placeAfter having to pay for that sh** showing by McGregor, I was hoping the ref would let Khabib attack him after the fight was over.
Besides the corruption, at least I got my money's worth for GGG/Canelo 2. Now that was a good fight.
What we say last night was donkey poop.
He needs to lay low and dedicate his life to wrestling if he wants any chance in a rematch. Ireland is one of the worst wrestling countries in the world
His wrestling was pretty good on Saturday night, tbh. That's what Khabib does to good wrestlers. He needs a different gameplan, IMO. He came out too aggressive. He should have made Khabib come to him.
There is probably no scenario where he beats Khabib, unless he catches him early.
It’s probably a stretch to say he’s a good wrestler but his takedown defense was better than expected. I agree with you on the gameplan. I was surprised Conor closed the distance on Khabib in the first. Khabib got his hands on him quick and start gassing him. Make him come to you and punish him when he gets in striking range
He did a great job in the 1st protecting himself and stopping Khabib from transitioning when he did get to the ground. Conor had to exert a lot of energy to do it and he was in positions he's not comfortable fighting from. I think he'd need to dedicate himself to wrestling to build his cardio up on the ground.
