UF is gonna score 100 on UT

Trask just said “when we get the ball back we’re gonna score every time” on the sideline just then

“We’re gonna score every time on these mo%#rfukrs!” was what the lip reading appeared to be. I love the edge and swagger Trask is playing with.

...and they're going to do it with a kid that didn't start in high school, not a 5*, and who didn't get his first college career start till he was a Junior, the irony.

A 2* recruit, and only earned a recruiting ranking at all because UF offered. Before that, he was destined to attend Dallas Baptist or some such. Truly amazing story.

The main concern at this point is will Tennessee have quit by then.

I seriously think it’s a strong possibility that Pruitt loses the team and on that day Tennessee is just happy to get the season over with

IF you don't think this team has quit; WTH do you call that second half?

Bad football.

I think the offense and defense were still playing hard.

People worried about Florida putting up 100, A&M arrives in 6 days

You know; really----We don't NEED Nor Appreciate your coming on here with your Smug Remarks. Go Bask on YOUR Fan Site! Isn't that enjoyable enough for you? Your opinion is Worthless here. Got It?

I don't think they "quit" at halftime with a lead. That was more the opposing coaches making adjustments, and with JG as the QB, we could not respond. We had no answers to 8 in the box.

As a fan, I have a sense of hopelessness. I know JG isn't going to help us win. I know that without a passing attack, we have almost no chance to beat a SEC caliber programs. I know our staff isn't capable. If fans feel that way, it's natural to think players will also eventually start to feel the same. It's going to impact their performances. Inevitable.

This staff has to do something to give this team a sense of possibly being a threat to pass the ball. Unfortunately, that would require change...something this staff will not do. It also assumes player development at WR and QB...also something this staff has shown itself unable to do. So, while they didn't "quit" at halftime yesterday, it's something I won't be surprised to see going forward.

I'd much rather take my chances with Bailey than JG. The tipped ball for the INT isn't enough not to start bailey; he needs the reps for the rest of the season and for the future; the other QBs can't get it done.

From what I saw, the defender was all over the receiver and should have been pass interference. There was a very small chance of completion due to tight coverage. The 2nd interception was a Hail Mary type end-of-the game toss up.

Those stories only happen to others, apparently

Maybe there will be another big fight on the field and someone will knock some sense into wannabe coach Pruitt.

Is Georgia's defense highly overrated or is this further indication that in today's game a very good defense might slow down a strong offensive but won't stop them, unless the offense is just having a bad game.

Georgia is always overrated.

Lol....yet just you wait, we'll have a ton of "I got a feeling" posts the week of the UF game.

[QUO2TE="Gatornator, post: 18897537, member: 75306"]All the Pruitt critics need to remember, Mullen was never going to start Trask if it were not for Franks injury in 2019 Kentucky game. We were just lucky to have a good kid not transfer for 6 years. Trask was clearly better than Franks and Mullen never saw it.[/QUOTE]
Nonsense or revisionist history. Trask was always better than Franks except in 2 vital categories... vocal leadership and confidence. Countless articles and interviews around that time indicating Franks kept getting the nod because of the intangibles he brought to the table... he had the ability to fire up and motivate the troops that Kyle had not yet developed to Mullen's satisfaction. Makes sense because Kyle had never been a starting QB before, even in HS... it was taking him longer to get acclimated. When Franks got injured, Mullen obviously had to accelerate Trask's development and coax him out of his shell. I've been on the Trask Train since the day he caught UF's attention and was offered; everybody knew (or should've known) he was a classic miss by the recruitotainment sites... the proverbial diamond in the rough. In fact, the 2/3* rating everyone sees on his recruiting page is actually an upgrade; he actually was just a 2* kid until UF offered. But I remember the 1st time I read about and saw him throw, and thought, here's this 6'6" 240 lb. kid throwing darts all over the place, and he can't see the field... then I did a little more homework, and learned D'Eriq King was the starter at his dual-threat hs program. He could have transferred to another hs and been their starter Day 1, but he was loyal to his team. We got lucky snaring him. The product we all see today is the natural progression plus tutoring... timid Kyle is gone.

It is the coach's job to improve the intangibles like confidence and leadership. There was no development to be "accelerated" because it was clear that Mullen was prepping EJ to be no 2 and Trask was to transfer at the end of 2019 season, if Franks did not get injured. It is almost criminal to think this kid was never going to get a start.
