In a way except for whats his name kind of sad whats happened to a once pretty good program. I have seen us play them 4 times in LA(Pasadena) and enjoyed all the trips. Plus I can't stand Southern Cal.

Kind of an overview of what has happened to the once great state of Kalyfornia.

The powers that be at UCLA made the choice decades ago that they did not want to be a football school..

The school is amazing and the campus is absolutely unbelievable

As I said in the game thread last night, I have also been to a few games at the Rose Bowl and the UCLA "fans" were basically the geriatric wine and cheese crowd. Nothing wrong with that. Those folks pay the big $$ for tickets Very few students-or those that were of student age though

While I love me a nice, polite football crowd-when there is no passion at a game, it can be a bit unsettling. Hard to explain really.

Agree with both of you. I miss playing UCLA. I liked going out there and I loved it when they came to Knoxville. It was a nice cross country rival. I wish we’d pick it back up.

And yet we somehow managed to lose our last 2 games to them. No idea how. Actually that’s not true, I know how we did, but I don’t want to say too many bad things. 43 pass attempts with Pre-Georgia Jonathon Crompton is part of the reason.
