There was a thread last week that said Byrd and Fils-Aime walked off the practice field before it ended. Neither played today.... Soooo maybe that had some cred??

I’d leave if I were him too... seriously. Butch is robbing him of millions by keeping him at WR. Best thing for his future is a transfer, followed by a redshirt year on defense

What evidence do you have that he is a NFL db? Don't get me wrong I want to see him on defense but how do you know he is some elite db?

Not much. He had a good week of practice as a corner at the US Army AA game and followed that up with a good game performance. He’s built more like a corner. And he’s publicly admitted that he’d rather play defense. If he’s anything like most humans, he’d work harder to be great if he were doing what he loves... which is play defense.

I feel like Butch is trying to make him the next Antonio Brown, but there’s a reason why most people Brown’s size don’t play receiver in the NFL. He and guys like Sterling Shepherd make up for being undersized with great routes and great hands... two things we haven’t seen from Byrd. He’s a DB all the way
