Agreed. To me this was always a huge mistake Butch made. And he's too stubborn to switch him back. If Byrd was a huge contributor on offense that would be one thing, but seeing how things are, why not give it a shot.

How many targets does he have this year?

He has 1 run for 15 yards.........if you got a speedster, and he has only 2 catches through 5 games.........maybe find a way to get the ball in his hands.

A Vol is showing swagger and talking like he's ready to ball out and y'all trash the kid immediately. Man, this place is unbearable sometimes.

I like his attitude. I'm glad he's talking trash.

Go get them Byrd. Have a breakout game and shut these "fans" up.

What is really sad is that normally Vol Twitter would have trolled the original tweet that was made back on 10/10/17 by the South Carolina football account with such a comment - but they all are too busy pushing rumors and trashing their team.

And then when a player tweets - what does everyone do?

And you all think the fan base is NOT the problem!

As awful as the secondary has been, it seems a switch for a guy that has less than 20 receptions in his career that most schools recruited as a DB would be in order.

Not in Butchland though.

Doesn’t help that Byrd doesn’t have an accurate QB to throw him the ball.

Everything is a mess at every position.

Accurate QB or not, when you trash talk, you gotta have something to back it up, or you are going to get roasted.
