LaMarcus Coker was so good. What could’ve been for that kid. Foster, Coker and Hardesty was a damn strong running back room.

Who are you? You're always posting stuff I like haha. This was one of my favorite scenes in movie history. It motivated me to call be people's bluffs in real life. It changed my life...

Also Sir Bron of the Blackwater is the most underrated character in GOT!!
Just a sensible fan with a sense of humor and perspective.

Our return to Championships is more connected to Saban's retirement than anything we can control.
With all due respect ... if Ole Miss can beat him, so can we.

I remember summer of '82 when my co-worker was saying, we would never (again) beat The Bear. He was wrong.

Ty Chandler will sit the bench at North Carolina there's no way he will get a lot of playing time sitting behind North Carolina's great running back Javonte Williams.

Fair point, but when we are next able to beat Bama -- no small thing -- then I don't know of any bigger barrier on our path to a championship.
There's a fine line separating optimism from delusion. We will not win a championship with Saban at Bama.

Umm... BV you know Williams is projected pretty high for a running back this weekend right?

No problem. Still pisses me off that he went to that institution. I think he could’ve been a productive back with our scheme this season.
That make me wonder how many players at Tennessee may have accepted illegal benefits.

I’m guessing more than we will ever find out . I sincerely hope the rumor about Pruitt keeping a ledger in his office of who was getting what is false. However, nothing would surprise me.

I sincerely doubt that he was. He had enough on his plate as it was, and the leaving potential evidence around like that would be too risky

I've thought for a long time, and gotten ripped here for it, that UT doesn't have quite the hold on the Nashville metro area like we think it does. Rural parts of Middle Tennessee (especially southern middle) yes, but not really Nashville itself.

I fear the impact we have there has only declined in recent times because we have sucked, and a ton of transplants live there now. A bunch of bandwagon Bammers live there too.

It's also mainly that most handlers in the metro area are pushing the kids to go elsewhere. These handlers develop relationships with alot of the kids at the youth level and the handlers themselves are transplants and push the young men and families to go elsewhere!! Thats a fact!

That's just stupid to say...........
I don't understand why some of you people keep the myth of Fulmer going. He whiffed or didn't even try with some of the biggest names to come out of TN.

Sure he landed some instate talent but he let more than his share go elsewhere.
Name a few he missed on over 16 years, and don't count all the players Bama bought. He certainly cherry-picked the best players from surrounding states.

When Patrick Turner decided to go out west instead of to the hill, that is when I knew Fulmer was either slipping or other coaches were just better.

Phil got to complacent after winning the National Championship in 1998. How long do you think he would have been around had Tennessee went 8-3 in 1998 losing to Syracuse,Florida and Arkansas?

Jalen Hurd and Derek Barnett aren’t on that list, among others. Nashville had been much better to UT than Knoxville has. It seems anytime there is a 4 or 5 star recruit with national options in Knoxville, he leaves....Higgins, Rodgers, Harrison Smith come to mind.

Of course, the advantage of instate recruiting is overrated and Knoxville highlights that. Proximate talent (3-5 hour radius) is what matters and UT has plenty of that to recruit from.
