'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

Ok, not understanding how this works.
Evans can’t sign another NLI because of the situation with him and Georgia. But he can still be recruited but can’t sign?
Somebody help me out here...
How am I supposed to sleep at night knowing UT had a five star RB on campus but can’t announce a commitment?!?

He can commit anytime. Nothing is binding, since he cant sign another NLI, until he enrolls and shows up to campus.

I hesitated to post this because, since I am a Dawg fan you will doubt what I say, but welcome to the wild ride that is Evans’ recruitment. He is fantastic, and you guys would really score if you got him. However, get ready for months of the craziest recruitment that you have seen in years. Over the last few months, it has been a bizarre ride. Evans was suspended 3 games for fighting with a coach and suspended for the state championship for arguing with the head coach. His whims and attitude on where to go seem to change by the hour. His brother posts a ton and seems to be overly involved. Mom apparently wants him out of Texas due to very bad influences around him. He screws up and then repents. A succession of schools have wanted him, been seemingly about to lock him up, and then backed off in frustration. His test scores are also allegedly an issue.

I am certainly not bad-mouthing the kid. I do not know him. I just thought I would give you guys a heads up on what is to come for you. Anyway, good luck. Pruitt is a great coach. I am sorry we lost him. I hope you crush Mullen.
If he has a questionable test score then why is UGA bringing him back on campus next weekend?

Thx for the inside info we could have only obtained from every College message board in the country worth its salt.

Or to use a basketball reference, would we have rather never had Ramar Smith, Tyler Smith or Scooter McFadden??? Yes they all had issues, but they scored points, grabbed boards and won games. If you want to play with the big boys, gotta worry less about 5* hearts and more about 5* ability.

Too many f’n cucks in here.
It definitely takes a mixture of both. They were not all choir boys when Phil was at the helm.
